A beautiful newer built home with a great outdoor area! The perfect place to call home while leaf peeping in NH. We spent most days on the road but when we returned in the evening, the neighborhood was quiet and welcoming. The kitchen was generously stocked with supplies and then some. Very spacious and comfortable living areas. Our host, Richie was friendly and quick to respond to our questions. The only suggestions we have would be to add a second nightstand next to the bed in the basement bedroom, an automatic flood light out front for evening returns, and instructions for the fireplace. The home is in a great location on the outskirts of the tourist hot spots (the first week in Oct.) with about a two hr drive to white mountain and plenty of leisure exploring and beautiful sceneries on the way. Gilford is a quaint town with a relaxing vibe and friendly locals. The local grocery store had premade meals and desserts in addition to many common food items and supplies. There is no shortage of beer and wine stores in NH. A must try for a delicous steak is Tuckerman's Restaurant & Tavern about 1.5 North nearby to Bartlett. Thank you, Richie, for offering us a beautiful and safe place to stay while we made great memories leaf peeping!
