"Lovely spacious clean cottage, very well equipped. Owners were attentive nice people. Summer or winter very comfortable place to be. Good position for visiting lot's of places. Lovely patio to sit in looking out towards the cattle in the fields, watching sunset or rise! We would definitely stay again. Thank you."

"I would have given this five stars but it is extremely expensive to stay in this house and while we were actually quite happy to not have Wifi or indeed phone reception, we were frustrated and disappointed to be told we couldn't use the superior Wifi connection in the café. There should be somewhere to download things and send the odd email for half an hour with a decent connection. "

"We had a really nice little break as a family, but there were a few things that were a little disappointing given the fact the house appeared on paper to be high end. We arrived with excited kids to find the hot tub was not switched on, so this took 24 hours to heat. A real shame when you only have a short break. There were no complimentary logs for the log burner as promised, and only one bin liner for the bins. So first thing to do was a shop! There were caddies for tea, coffee, sugar, salt...

"A great little cottage with plenty of amenities, however disappointed to only have 2 wine glasses and 4 mugs for a group of 6 ladies, who all love wine and all love tea, which made it very challenging and annoying. Would recommend for anybody looking to venture to sherwood forest area, as very close to sherwood forest visitor centre. a great Italian restaurant in the village too, 100 yards from the cottage, which was lovely. all in all a great cottage and wouldnt hesitate to stay here again."

"The photos do not lie. This property is utterly charming. Adding to that, the hosts add lots of thoughtful touches like leaving some milk, snacks, board games and numerous brochures and guides for local attractions. Some other reviewers have mentioned the busy road; don’t let that put you off, be assured the property is not on the busy A road, but is on a local road which does get light traffic, but it is not at all bothersome: you won’t hear it from inside the house. "Everything about this property was incredible, better than we had imagined. Julia and Dave greeted us at the property and showed us how to use the sauna etc, and even put some nail polishes in the ‘relaxation room’. They kindly lent us flour too for our Yorkshire puddings for our roast dinner on Sunday too!
