"Truly great stay at Wood Hotel. The room was super clean and spacious. Comfy chairs and comfy bed. The bathroom was good and had everything you could need. The staff were very friendly and helpful and service was excellent. But the star of the show was definitely the buffet breakfast. It was huge and there was something for everyone. Breakfast is on the 7th floor and is set out in a lovely spacious dining area. The hotel is set at the top of a hill, a little out from the main town (maybe 7-8...

"Beautiful hotel. The lobby/bar is a fantastic space. The rooms are on the smaller side but we had a large bathroom. Breakfast før excellent. We were met with friendly and accommodating staff. Recommended!"

"The staff were all so friendly and helpful, the hotel was clean, relaxed, professional and if you needed anything you just needed to ask and it was no problem. The food was excellent, it seemed like a lot of thought had gone into it and all well cooked plus a great selection at both breakfast and the evening meal, the cake was always delicious too. We had a lovely time and would love to come back. Thank you."

"Great staff and excellent breakfast. Only drawback is the flat bathroom floor and the drain being the highest point in there. Water goes everywhere. Squeegee is provided, however would have preferred to not clear a flood every morning. Otherwise fantastic!"

"Late 1800s style decor, shared restrooms, and rustic setting and approach to facilities. The owner is very helpful and the staff is very polite. Other lodgers very friendly and it adds to the experience. Communal dinners are served but we were sightseeing so didn’t partake. "
