Stunning views
We had a wonderful time at this property. The living space overlooks the water and mount rainier with easy beach access. We also had access to kayaks which was great. Kitchen was well stocked and the place was clean and just as advertised.

Hidden gem, even without TV.
Loved the seculusion, the view, the outdoor deck and furntiture. At first missed a TV but got over that quickly. Nearby Zog's restaurant, on Fox Island, is not to be missed.

What a View!
Gig Harbor is just beautiful. The house was lovely. We were 2 older, senior couples, old friends, meeting up to visit for a few days. We were all comfortable. Had a wonderful time visiting the area.

Fabulous rustic cabin hideaway!
Cozy beachfront cottage - well appointed kitchen. Great for sitting and watching the ripples, enjoying wood burning fires each chilly evening and morning! Wonderful spot to step back from busy weeks and outside demands. Gotta come back!

Waterfront cottage
Beautiful setting and cute cottage. Enjoyed using the kayaks. Only negative was that the washer and dryer were not hooked up for use like advertised in property description. My son's clothes got wet while kayaking and it would have been nice to have use of the dryer. It also would have been nice to have use of the washer too. The rental price of this property should have been reduced due to the lack of was her and dryer.

Great house for a writing retreat
I went here alone for a writing retreat weekend, and it served the purpose beautifully! The area was so quiet, even on a June weekend. Slept great—thick shades keep the bedroom nice and dark. Didn't have any trouble with the wifi when doing work. The waterfront view is stunning! Enjoyed going down the steps to the beach a couple of times each day to appreciate the changing tides. Thanks for a peaceful spot!

Great location with some technical issues
The Sunny Bay House is in a great location--beautiful views, very quiet neighborhood, and very conveniently located relative to Gig Harbor, Tacoma, etc.

Sunny Bay Beach House
Convenient location. Quiet residential area. Loved the area below the house where we could have our morning coffee and watch the birds and seals. We also saw some dolphins one morning! Great area to sip a glass of wine watching the sun go down and starting a roaring fire in the fire pit.

Amazing Views
We absolutely loved our stay at this home. Pictures don’t do it justice. Peaceful, cozy, intimate space. Perfect for a relaxing getaway, yet close enough to amenities in town. Daily walks on the beach at low tide are a must. Can’t wait to come back!

Quiet
Great location for a quiet relaxing stay. The cabin is very private even with the neighbors next door. Gig Harbor was close and fun to visit. We came to do nothing and that’s what we did.

Great time in Gig Harbor
The cabin was clean and contained a variety of items to make a stay comfortable. The location was beautiful, quiet and within short distance of stores, restaurants and activities. We observed seals and birds and even got to see Mt. Rainier. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves during our time at the cabin and Gig Harbor.

Gig Harbor cabin
Our stay at the cabin was most enjoyable. We were happy to know that the main room was larger than expected. There was plenty of towels, soap, etc. for our needs. The view was spectacular. I would recommend a little more attention being paid to removing dog hair from the furniture and floor. Also, you might want to include short instructions on using the fireplace, since can collect in the cabin unless windows/doors are open. In case you’re wondering, the flue was indeed open. Getting the baseboard heating to work was a bit odd. Overall, we very much enjoyed staying at the cabin.

Fresh air & zero screens for the win
This humble, dog-friendly gem is truly appreciated and keeps PNW waterfront accessible to artists fueled by nature. Enjoyed several relaxing days of outdoor exploration with good people. An overhead light for the dining table would greatly enhance post-dinner Scrabble games, but that's the only thing we'd change. Thank you for sharing your beloved cabin!

Great Winter Getaway
We loved staying right near the water in the cozy cabin. You could see Mt. Rainier on a clear day and the kayak was a perfect addition. You do have to crank the heat on those cold days but the heater was up to the challenge. Excited to come back another time!

Great neighborhood and great location on the water !
The house location is in a wonderful quiet neighborhood and located right on the water (Hales Passage looking over at Fox Island). The deck was great along with the use of the kayaks to enjoy and paddle around.

Beautiful Views & Cozy Home
My dog and I had the most wonderful time here. I truly felt at home and didn't want to leave. The wifi was very good, I was able to stream college football on my laptop while lounging on the deck. Kayaking was so fun and was part of the reason I booked this property!

Washington state getaway
The view is spectacular. The kitchen has everything you need to cook your own meals. They knew we were bringing our dog and left a water and food bowl along with a dog bed for our furry friend. There is no tv but you don’t need it with the view and amazing patio. My boyfriend saw seals when he took the kayak out on the water. I would recommend this property.
