"The staff was extremely concerned with our well being and have offered a very nice commercial gesture to compensate for the lack of hot water in our room. Our room faced the city of Gien and the view was really great. One just have to walk accross a bridge to reach the interesting sidewalk with restaurants on the other side of the Loire. I prefer that view (Castle of Anne de Beaujeu) from the one the hotels on the other side of the rriver would have. Highly recommended hotel."

"The location is so peaceful. Surrounded by the forest with a wonderful view down to the small lake. We enjoyed sitting outside, spotting the local wildlife,such as deer, wild boar and numerous birds. There's plenty of space for children to play.
