My kids had so much fun paddle boarding, fishing, playing with the cows and other animals, chasing after the turkeys and peacocks, and playing with Bailey and Biscuit the farm dogs who are super friendly! "We had a great experience with this rental. The only thing we could think of as a slight negative is the lack of a box of Kleenex!! Great kitchen for making breakfast and a couple dinners. Plenty of comfy beds and nice bathrooms for everyone. Location was peaceful but not too far from town. We enjoyed the visiting deer. Would stay again and recommend it!"

"The whole thing was adorable and very clean! Loved that it was just far enough out of town to have peace and quiet but still very convenient to town! Bummed there was no WiFi since cell service was poor. Had issues getting front door unlocked. Would have been helpful to know it was finicky up front. Overall great stay though! "

"This place is so nice and clean! We stayed at the cabins by the lake and really enjoyed the peacefulness of the lake. Our girls 12 & 10 loved paddle boarding, fishing, smore's at night and using the awesome outdoor kitchen. If you're looking for a very relaxing vacation with tons of stuff to do with the kids, this is the place. Also the owner and staff are amazing!! "

"We recently stayed at Double K Lodging and had a great experience. Double K is located out in the countryside close to Round Top. There are three cabins available to rent, all located in a beautiful bucolic setting near a large pond, but with plenty of space separating them. We stayed in the Farmhouse which is right next to shore of the pond and it was cozy, clean, & comfortable. There is also a very nice pool near the cabins which we enjoyed during our stay. "It was such a great place for a extremely relaxing stay! Brent, Monica, and Hugo were all amazing! They were always out and about and never once didnt ask if we needed something or was there to assist! Son loved the animals, pool, lake, everything! His favorite of course was the snack room! LOL We will be back and bring lots of friends and family!!"

"Everything was top notch at Milk and Honey Ranch! From the friendliness of all the employees, to the immaculate casita, it was a wonderful overnight stay. The beds were so comfortable! The layout of the house was beautiful and, by the way, this Cassita XL was completely handicap accesible. There are so many things to see and do on this property. Every kind of farm animal and plenty of ways to get exercise. A gem in Washington County and so close to Round Top, Texas! We will be back!"
