"This Villa is beautiful and a great size for a group of friends or family, but the best part of this place was the accommodation of the hosts. We had Francesco who greeted us and looked after us for the week, organising a boat trip for us, and as a group of friends who wasn’t driving he provided us a phone number for a great taxi company that were there for us whenever we needed. The location was great, however there isn’t really any footpaths so you are like walking on a road, so small journeys...

"This house was beautiful and the pool was fantastic but the road to the house was very dangerous and guests definitely need a four wheel drive to get to the house. The house was a bit spooky at nights. Top floor was very noisy and everything shook when you moved and lots of noise from rats in the walls, and birds and shutters moving... so a bit scary for my taste. However Paolo was super nice and took very good care of us."

"The villa is pleasant enough situated just down the road from the village. We had several issues with it when we arrived but they were quickly sorted out by Claudia and her father who were both endlessly helpful. Watch out for biting insects which were a real plague despite insect repellent and citronella candles. Scopello is a pleasant little village with some nice places to eat. It seems to host a wedding every night so can be quite noisy. There are some lovely but rocky beaches nearby and...

"A very nice house and region. Theobalds issues are the mosquitoes and the missing mosquito nets in the windows. But the hosts helped with mosquito repellent that was plugged to the electrical outlets."

"Overall our staying in the apartment was good enough to recommend it to other travellers in particularly with younger children. Good points: enough space for 4 adults because of 2 separate bedrooms, very clean, all necessary equipment, nice green yard with small children playground, outdoor area with a barbecue zone, cooperative and helpful host. Could be better: would be great to have at least basic essentials like a soap, internet signal was poor, instructions how to avoid problems with...
