"Not so accessible to Pokhara but the view makes up for it"

"The Nar Bis hotel is a wonderful retreat from the busy city of Pokhara. It looks out over the lake is beautifully kept rooms, relaxing environment and wonderful owners who were at all times helpful. We had just finished the Annapurna circuit, and I have to say that the showers were absolutely amazing . It is a little bit of a hike into town but taxis are plentiful and little if you don’t feel like walking We had a lovely stay there and recommend it"

"I stayed at a KGH The Maya Manor boutique in Kathmandu. Thought I’d give the Himalayan a try. Was not disappointed. Absolutely OUTSTANDING in every respect!! The room for clean and tidy, Guest services were outstanding… The views of the Annapurna range are beyond compare! The spa is incredibly affordable and relaxing! Great fitness center . All in all an outstanding stay and would go again!"

"Sadhana is a very special place. I went as a single traveler woman in my 50s from the US. I spent 3 days here learning meditation, yoga, and being served the best and freshest food I have had in Nepal. My room had a huge window on 2 sides, so although it was very hot down by the lake, up at Sadhana, it was fairly cool and breezy so sleeping in the fresh white sheets was very comfortable. The view of the lake from my room was gorgeous. And if you happen to be a bird nerd like me, you will be in heaven seeing and hearing so many amazing birds in the trees right outside your window. Use your trusty Merlin app with Nepal downloaded on your phone and you will be amazed at the variety of birds you are hearing. The staff/family at Sadhana was so welcoming and kind. I highly recommend this retreat."
