I liked its proximity to the train station which is some distance from the city centre. There was nothing to dislike. The next screen is wrong. My current location isn't Ghent.

Great location, great value.
We have stayed at this hotel previously. Front reception very professional and knowledgeable. The hotel is located close to the Central train station and a tram spot directly across the street to easy access to downtown. Several restaurants in the area providing a variety of choices.

Excellent quality and value
Given the price I paid, I expected a 'budget' type hotel, but it exceeded my expectations. The room was very large, clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and the breakfast buffet selection was one of the best I've seen anywhere. The only downside - and not the hotel's fault - is that it's in a fairly quiet area overall but the trams run right outside and make a fair bit of noise.

Jorge and all the people at the Front desk were so good to me. I had the best conversations with the cleaning lady who came by my room each day.

Not the best experience
We booked and paid via Hotels. Com but they couldn't find payment at the hotel so I ended up paying twice. It took 50 mins on the chat line trying to get the money back. Nice big room, but caught my foot on the unfinished flooring next to the bed. Strangest was having the receptionist putting his hand on my back whilst helping input the WiFi code on my ohone! If I wasn't a 6ft bloke it would have been even more awkward. The hotel is a fair way from the centre but the tram is very convenient.

Not an NH-quality
When i first got into the room, instantly after checking in, there was dirt on the floor (something like melted chocolate) and I stepped on it and slipped. The sofa bed were exhaustingly used and were not okay for sitting, not comfortable at all. The bed had wheels and was not steady.

Air condition didn’t work Hot water boiler jug was not in working. And receptionist refused to give replacement. Instead gave a jug of hot water which didn’t serve our purpose of making good hot coffee or tea. Also it was very inconvenient to go down and get hot water. The room telephone was not working for entire stay. When checking g out the lift failed and we had to carry our language for three floors in the stair case. Horrible experiment e with receptionists.

3 nights in Gent.
Comfortable hotel not far from St Pieters station. Close to public trams to get to city centre. We got the 48hr tourist card which saved us some money. There are a few restaurants close by. Hotel was quiet and rooms functional and larger than many hotels. We enjoyed our stay and had only hello-goodbye interaction with staff. Check in and checkout went smoothly. Wifi excellent.

This property was in a good location but seemed quite run down. There was minimal staff who were operating the bar & reception. In the morning we asked for a taxi & were told there were none available without checking. The bathroom was very tired with cracked tiles & damage to the bath.
