"If you like a different kind of rental, rather remote, picturesque, quiet and private, this may be for you. 1800's cabin atmosphere with enough modern amenities to be very comfortable. A good "get away from it all" place."

"Great little place to get away. Stayed 2 nights while visiting the ark with 2 of the grandkids. We enjoyed the walkson the property and just sitting outside in the evenings. There was a dog that came up ,sadie, sweet as could be. My grandaughter enjoyed her. They chose this place over a hotel, so glad they did. Made some good memories and hope to return. ."

"My husband and I enjoyed our time on the farm. It was a quick one-night stay so we didn't get to take advantage of the hiking trails. The cabin is clean and cozy, and the upgrade of the bathroom area (from porta potties to a real bathroom with a toilet and sink) was an awesome surprise. We will definitely stay there again when we are back in town. "

"Rosemary has a beautiful home, filled with so many unique items. The pictures do not showcase just how beautiful the home is. We were amazed when we opened the door. The kids loved the loft area. Check in and communication with the host were easy. We loved all the lodge had to offer and thoroughly enjoyed playing in the yard, catching fireflies and watching the deer in the field. "The cabin was great! It was clean and very well maintained! We loved the outdoor space and the location. Close to town, but out far enough that we could enjoy the quiet and the stars at night. The only thing we found challenging was the shower set up. Quite a step up to get in and the shower curtain was a little long and a little bit of a hazard. Otherwise we had everything we needed and we were very comfortable."

"My husband and I took my mother and aunt to see the creation museum and ark encounter for a Christmas present. Haven Ridge was the perfect place to rest and relax in between places. Closer to the ark but easily accessible from the creation museum. Clean comfortable and well equipped for what ever we needed. Now far off interstate 75 so close to a nice variety of restaurants. Even got to enjoy the KC Chiefs football game! If we’re ever back this way will definitely stay again. Thanks"
