Ta Gananz Holiday Home

Large townhouse with sunny private pool, country views, lots of original features, air-conditioning in the 5 bedrooms only, free Wi-fi.

This delightfully converted farmhouse, situated in the rustic village of Ghasri, retains the feel and sense of light and space from when the property was first built, also retaining the use of its old features to good effect.

This is especially true with its arched ceilings in the kitchen and living room area, and with the patterned tiles in the bedrooms. Its furnishings are also sensitive to the architecture of the building which adds to its rustic charm.

The 5 separate bedrooms, all of which have ensuite facilities. Two of which are located on the ground floor, and having good sized living spaces, it caters for family groups, whilst ensuring privacy for everyone.

The main attraction in this wonderful farmhouse is it very spacious and stunning private pool area. This outside space has wonderful distant sea views; this outside area caters for all with several deckchairs available for use – along with a shaded area should you need a break from the Gozo sun. All of which is completed with a built in stone BBQ.

Additional services:

Included in this accommodation: All beds will be prepared with the appropriate bed linen, along with extra blankets in the wardrobes should you need further layers. In addition to this, you will also be provided with 2 towels per person – which will be placed on the beds ready for use.

The bedrooms ONLY are equipped with AC units that are available with an electronic coin system (€1 & €2 coins) installed at property with a screen to display the credit remaining, each AC unit consumes around € 2.25 per night.

We will also provide all bookings with 1x dishwasher tablet and 1x washing machine tablet per night of your stay.

Maid service is included when you book for 8 nights or more.

Flights to Malta and ferry crossing to our island of Gozo:

Land in Malta International Airport and than ferry crossing to Gozo. We can offer Car Hire and/or Direct Transfers from Airport to property after making the booking by completing our flight arrival and departure details form.

The village of Ghasri itself sits amongst the fields and valleys of the rural Gozo, but still within only 3km away from the town of Victoria with its commanding citadel clearly visible, and close to the best swimming spots on the island.

Adding to the charming ambiance of the property are the amazing views of the surrounding hills, including Tal-Gordan, a flat topped hill with its iconic lighthouse at one end, a 'must visit' for the ramblers."

The city of Victoria is 3.5 km from property and here you can enjoy the rich history from the knights time while unwinding yourself in one of the coffee shops you can find here. Bus 308 connects the village with Victoria, 3 km away. From Victoria, it is a 15-minute ride on bus 301 to reach Mgarr ferry terminal.

A mandatory fully refundable security deposit will be temporary held from a valid debit/credit card as follows:

The stay was good, but, I paid a good amount of money only to find out that we had to pay for the air conditioning usage.. I’ve never experienced this before.. although it was in the confirmed email within the fine print… this should be clear as I would have chosen a stay that included Air cond

I have stayed in many farmhouses in Gozo, this one particularly is very tired and needs some TLC. Has great potential due to size. Cleanliness was poor. We had to ask re cleaning the pool.

Tolle Aussicht und ruhige Lage
Pool und sonstiger Außenbereich hat uns super gefallen! So war auch alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Erreichbarkeit der Vermieter und deren Service super. Lediglich die Sauberkeit haben wir zu bemängeln. Das man selber alles nochmal durchfegt, dass man zufrieden ist, ok. Aber wenn Geschirr zum Teil noch komplett dreckig im Schrank steht :-( es wäre sicherlich alles nachgebessert worden, hätten wir darum gebeten. Aber da wir auf den Check in über eine Stunde warten mussten, weil erstmal die Reinigungsarbeiten noch nicht fertig waren und dann keiner kam, hatten wir keinen Nerv nochmal zu warten bis geputzt wurde. Das also einziger Manko. Zimmer schön groß, Bäder auch alle gut. Außen waren reichlich Liegen und noch genug Platz für ein Planschbecken für die kinder. Der Pool kann nachts beleuchtet werden, dann im Mondschein zu Baden, wunderschön!

Tolles Haus in schöner Lage
Es ist ein sehr schönes Haus mit toller Aufteilung und super Terrasse. Es hat einen besonderen Flair. Die Einrichtung ist ausreichend. Ein Auto ist hier von Vorteil da der nächste Supermarkt und Victoria doch ein gutes Stück entfernt sind.
