"The property was good but the service was very poor, we waited for nearly 1.30 hours for check-in. There was only one person at the receiption and was very slow. Need to increase some staff or consider how to speed up the process"

"Location and common dining areas were good.Giving it an Average rating - could have been excellent f the hallway carpets did not look dated. Further when booking a cab - we were given some pushy drivers trying to charge us the same price as big lux car and actually driving us in a small car. Had to speak to reception again to sort it out. some Food ran out at breakfast with no refill for 30 minutes had leave and had a lovely little hair in the scrambled eggs - we joked it was Vitamin H. "Kitchenette was a surprise bonus - never seen that before, but there were no bowls only plates. Like the separate bunk bed area for the children."

"Reception staff were adequate and not as friendly and welcoming as other places. Restaurant manager and waiter plus the barmen Liam and Abdul were great and especially the Irish chef in the restaurant, he was just fantastic. Carpets in the hallway and rooms need to be replaced and it is oils feel more like a 4 star. "

"I came here on a solo trip from London and as a girl in her twenties, far from the city of Brussels l, I was anxious of what to expect. This hotel has the kindest hotel staff I’ve ever met. "Our stay at Pierre and Martine's farmhouse was wonderful! The view from the backyard out into the pasture's is breathtaking and the kindness shown to us and our family was delightful. We enjoyed day trips to Brugge, Chimay, Dinant, Namur, and Bastogne. Also, don't miss Maresous Abbey a short ride away."
