"Limited transportation to and from train station. Nice people. Fyi, rail tracks right next to property so u do get train noise but it's not frequent. It does go late and early. No restaurants on property except for those who have meal included."

Beautiful rural area with mountains, rivers and waterfalls. Gero-onsen is an outdoor museum of transferred houses that depict life in an early Japanese settlement. Worth a visit!
