The location was within reasonable driving distance for the locations we wanted to go to. We had a glitch with the power when we first arrived, but Diane was able to help us through that. Once we got that figured out everything went smoothly. Overall it was a comfortable place to stay.
Our stay at this property was absolutely perfect. The property was beautiful and the RV very clean. The owners thought of all the little details, from firewood for a bonfire, bug spray and snacks to coffee pods in the morning. This rental offers everything you could need and want. We look forward to staying here again soon.

Second time we have stayed at Deer Crossing. Another quiet, relaxing, excellent experience. Love being able to sit by a fire and unwind at night. Usually, beds when I travel are too hard for me. The bed here is fantastic and I get a good night's sleep.
We really enjoyed our stay at The Deer Crossing! So quiet and such a beautiful property. The RV was well equipped with everything one should need. We really appreciated how cozy it is! Can't wait to come and stay again.
We had a great time staying here. Having is how its described and more. I wish we had more time to stay longer. Would definitely stay again if available!!
This was our first time in the UP, and this rental was awesome for us, I’m a tall and big guy and the inside was bigger than I would have thought. Accommodations were great, we were provided with everything we needed, great selection of dvds, nice outdoor area and close to all major attractions, we will definitely stay again in the future.
We had a great time and this was the perfect home base for exploring the UP. Diane was quick to respond to the few questions we had. Overall a great place!
The 5th wheel was cozy, well appointed and exceptionally clean. The yard was lovely, complete with visiting deer and a fire pit pre-stocked with wood for a campfire. Highly recommend.
Diane was a great hostess for our first UP visit. The space is just right for 2, there's a Dollar General right by, and very central to Pictured Rocks, Mackinac and Munising.
This trip was to attend the Celebration of Life for my Father. This was a very peaceful place to return to at the end of several emotional days. It was clean and very comfortable. And, the outside was very relaxing.
We loved our stay~ Thank you!
A well stocked, clean location, with excellent hosts
We enjoyed our stay at deer crossing! It was in a good location to explore different areas of the UP. The hosts were friendly, thinking of everything, including building a fire we just had to light the first night. The camper does sit pretty close to the road which we got use to pretty quickly, just didn’t expect that.
Property was as described. clean, quiet, great private back yard ,deck and fire pit, a mile from small grocery store and bars.. Bed was super nice , would come back again.
This was just what we wanted for our first weekend getaway as a couple. The location of the RV was in a good spot to be within an hour ish of many places to visit in the UP. The RV was well kept, the bed was comfy, the fires in the pit were relaxing, the deer and humming bird visits were fun, the quiet and stillness all around was great. No cell service was a plus. The town of Curtis nearby was lovely. Overall, we had a very enjoyable time.
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay! The camper was clean and comfortable. The hosts thought of everything...bottled water was left by each side of the bed and chocolates were left for us too! Lots of DVDs to choose from and the campfire was all setup for our arrival. Great location for trips to Munising, Tahquamenon Falls and Whitefish Point. We did Pictured Rocks and Shipwreck tours, visited Munising area falls, Shipwreck Museum at Whitefish Point and Oswald's Bear Ranch. Had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend staying here!
This little gem of property was exactly what my husband and I were looking for! Our first evening there we had deer come visit and almost every evening after! We spent 4th of July weekend there for our 11 year anniversary getaway, and we were pleasantly surprised with the celebration festivities in the little town of Curtis. We were able to watch the fireworks right from around the bonfire pit! The property and camper are spotless with everything you could need or want for camping. The bed is very comfortable which is sometimes not the case in campers. There is very little to no cell service and WiFi is not available, so plan on unplugging and enjoying the peaceful tranquility this beautiful property has to offer. If you ride ATV/OTV we were able to ride directly from the property into town or to the trails. Diane and Allen are amazing hosts and very responsive to ensure your stay is everything you want it to be. We will not hesitate to come back someday, but won’t be soon enough in my book!
My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend getaway. It was our first visit to the UP. The welcoming personal touches upon our arrival were amazing. Diane and Allen even stopped by to introduce themselves and ask if we had any questions. Allen had prepped our first bonfire. Diane was very quick to respond with any messages we sent and the property instructions were really helpful. Having WiFi at the property was a lifesaver to download hiking maps since cell reception in the UP is scarce.
The bed was very comfortable and all amenities worked well. We would definitely consider this property again.
All the previous reviews are correct in the information they have given in their reviews. One thing that should been know and there is nothing that the host can do about it. The trailer sits very close to the road (20 ft) and also very close to the neighbor's driveway. The road has quite a bit of traffic on it, so I didn't find it very quiet.
The camper was alright. It was close to the road and the water pressure and temperature were up and down. Otherwise, it was a decent place to rest our heads. We were able to see the deer really close up, they weren't too scared of people. The yard was set up nicely.
