"Had to escape no power and freezing temps due to ice storm. The lady at the front desk was the kindest wonderful woman I have ever encountered. She was warm, and welcoming and after having come from a horrible disaster it was appreciated. She got myself, my parents and our little dogs situated as we had the last rooms for the area. The rooms are likely in need of a refresher. Investment in the property would prob be a good idea. It’s quite worn in many places and with animals allowed carpets are a wild choice. But there was a warm clean bed, running hot water and power. To say that it is enough - it’s enough. I would not call it the lap of luxury but it’s a safe and clean place to rest when you are in need of safety. "

"Overall a pleasant stay. I was a little disappointed I could not run a hot bath as the bathtub drain did not allow. Otherwise the beds were comfy and the room was clean. I would stay again."

"Needed a safe place to stay during the massive power outage affecting Simcoe County, and surroundings. Very friendly staff, excellent comminication via messaging system, accommodated early check-in for all of us - including our dog. THANK YOU! One note: get a few sets of earplugs, dogs in adjacent rooms follow their own rules to keep the place the way THEY like. "
