Welcome to 829 Front Street Unit K in Historic Georgetown, South Carolina. We offer you the opportunity to stay at a location that gives both an unobstructed view of the Sampit River and direct access to the boardwalk which, in turn, gives access to all of the waterfront restaurants, shops, museums, and galleries downtown has to offer. Our waterfront unit has 2 bedrooms and a single full bathroom. There is another bathroom in the downstairs common area of the building, adjacent to this unit, if needed. The living room lets out onto the back deck and waterfront. There is also a full kitchen in case you feel like preparing some meals yourself. One bedroom offers a king size bed and the other has a queen size bed. Each bedroom has a charging station on the nightstands and lamps for your convenience.
We are located between Charleston and Myrtle Beach so there is exciting things to do in every direction. There are several boat launches near our building for water activities. In Georgetown, we have 5 rivers merging together and in the center of it all is Winyah Bay. Right outside our back door you'll find the Intercoastal Waterway as well as countless other waterways, creeks, tributaries and estuaries. Fresh water in one direction and salt in the other! And of course, it all leads to the Atlantic Ocean. Which brings me to our beaches. Believe me, they are second to none. Pawleys Island beaches are just North of us roughly 15 minutes away. Pawleys Island is another absolute gem! If you've never heard of it, do yourself a favor and spend the day there as well. We all love our little Pawleys Island beach town and affectionately describe it as being arrogantly shabby.
Some of our local activities include:
Golf, history tours, boat tours to shell hunt, waterfront plantation tours, guided inshore and offshore fishing, beach combing, watersports of all kinds, hunting and exploring local wildlife.
Some of our local attractions include:
-Murrells Inlet - Seafood capital of SC and the Marshwalk lined with Restaurants and entertainment venues.
