A very comfortable and welcoming hotel. The hotel suites are very comfortable and contemporary, offering air conditioned rooms, well equipped bathrooms with powerful showers and standard toiletries and fresh bathroom linen. While the staff are mainly Chinese, they are very helpful and at your disposal should you have a requirement. The English speaking reception staff are beyond helpful and will assist you with all your needs. Breakfast was varied and fresh. Many delicious options for all dietary requirements. I stayed a week at the Royal International Hotel and would definitely stay at this very well located hotel again. Definitely worth a stay.

Clearly very new and still need to finish up few thinks .... room nice and big, bed comfortable.... good location to gen in and out of town, when big park will be open it will be a great location for some open activities .... Chinese Management is a little different that usual hotel staff

Definitely One Of The Best Hotels In Guyana! Recently opened and management is already at its peak. We got a king size room with a balcony view and the entire stay was amazing. The room service, AC, quiet rooms and great location from shopping was ideal. The bathrooms were super clean/Huge and everything work as intended. Complimentary Breakfast from 7-10 made it easy and convenient with a wide variety of brunch and some Chinese delicacy. Definitely my go-to hotel from now on!

The hotel reminded me of my visit to China. It felt like a replica. The rooms are clean and spacious. The location is ideal. Breakfast had a good a variety (a mix of western and Chinese-styled breakfast). The only issue I had was the setup of the toilet in the same space as the shower. It felt odd. However, I highly recommend.

Royal International was a wonderful experience. The hotel waa exceptionally clean, comfortable beds, excellent working water and air conditioning. Sometimes air-conditioning can be limited in places like Guyana. I felt completely safe a s secure. The staff went above and beyond for me. Kept in contact with me the entire time thru WhatsApp. They provided me with taxis back and forth to everywhere i went. Even provided currency change for me right at the front desk.

As you enter the building you begin to get a feeling like if you're in another country. There was'nt anything I did'nt like. You just have to enjoy the Chinese menu in the restaurant

The room I stayed in had literal cockroach on the bed, the mini fridge does not work, I had to request for my sheets to be changed, there’s no room service available, breakfast sucks, the description given online is completely incorrect. There is no English speaking staff would 10/10 not recommended. Very expensive and have no proper amenities.

Our check-in experience was prolonged because only two staff members spoke English, which created significant communication barriers with management. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Room service was provided every day, and water was given daily as well. Furthermore, their accounting process requires improvement, as nearly every guest was asked to pay again despite having already completed their payment. This suggests a greater emphasis on collecting money rather than providing a comfortable and seamless check-in experience for guests. While breakfast was excellent, we found dinner at the restaurant to be disappointing due to the bland food.

The hotel charged me almost $200 above the rate quoted by Expedia, they claim for "exchange rate" reasons. Bottomline is they did not respect Expedia rate. Also the hot water did not work for two of my 4 nights, and I had to complain 5 times before it was fixed. Almost all staff are Chinese and most don't speak English, but use Google translate.
