The house was wonderful. The kitchen was well stocked and the bottle of wine was terrific. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub as well. I would highly recommend this property.

Property is rat infested!
Everything was great till we noticed there were rats inside. Since we were hiking we had to start early and there was no time to check out and find alternatives. We let the host know the same day after coming back. I have stayed at a lot of VRBOs but never encountered this issue before.

Wonderful family getaway
This was such a cute mountain home. We really liked the location. The house is definitely older, but it was clean and nice. Having a hot tub was definitely a nice bonus!

Awesome Stay
We stayed in Georgetown for a family wedding. The Loop house was a great base of operation! The home has everything you’d ever need. Well thought out, a lot of space, great porch and deck. We would rent again !!

A touch of local history
Loved this house, it’s history and location. Traveled with two of our daughters and their families for a huge family wedding in Idaho Springs. Loved that each family had its own bath and privacy. Kitchen was well equipped and we cooked all our meals. Would highly recommended this home for a true experience of the 1800’s.

Hot Rod Hill Climb 2015
Our group participated in the 2015 Georgetown Hot Rod Hill Climb and stayed at this property. We found the home to be very clean, nicely appointed with plenty of bath room and bed room space for our large group. We would highly recommend this property to Georgetown visitors.

Georgetown family trip
House was great. We stayed with a family of 10 and everyone had enough space, comfy bedding, and a great experience. We were able to access Arapahoe Basin ski resort very easily and had a great couple days of skiing. This house has a ton of character and the hosts were kind and flexible.

Wonderful Victorian Home in Georgetown
Thank you sooo much, Jen. Your home is the perfect place for a Family to gather and enjoy a variety of activities. Some went alpine skiing at Loveland and some went XC skiing on Guanella Pass. And we all came home to your fantastic house. We walked down to Troia's for dinner and that was also good.

Beautiful home in Georgetown
We had a wonderful time staying in this home. The kitchen was a good size and well stocked with more than enough cookware and serve ware. We loved the living area with the large wood burning fireplace. The bedrooms were very comfortable. The hot tub was wonderful! We were all very happy to find that this home was very well insulated. Our trip was on a very cold winter weekend, and yet this beautiful old house was warm and cozy. We’d love to stay here again in the warmer weather, so we can enjoy the large, inviting porch.

Great place to stay!
What a great experience our church family had in this beautiful home! This was the prefect place to gather together to relax and enjoy one another's company each evening after skiing. We especially enjoyed gathering around the fireplace to cheer on our favorite football teams and around the large dining room table for games. This home was more than we expected....even the teenagers with us raved about how great it was! The accommodations were beyond expectation. This is definitely the place we will choose next time we are in the area!

Great location , 10 miles from Loveland ski resort and 50 minute drive to winter park ski resort . Mattresses are old and slightly Uncomfortable. Kitchen could use some Modern lighting . House Rental in Georgetown, CO
Everything else was more than expected. The house was well stocked with wash towels, pillows, just about every kitchen utensil you can think of, very nice Frig, X-Finity TV, fireplace, hot tub, grill, etc. Enough beds to sleep several people, and parking for 4 vehicles. Ice melt, which came in handy as it snowed while we were there. 4 different bathrooms. Also spoke with I believe the owners about a last minute addition we needed and they were very corgial, and helped us with anything we needed. Staying here and riding the Christmas Georgetown Loop was a present to our kids and grand kids and we all had a great experience.

We spent several days at Loop's End for our family vacation. The house was very comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. The children enjoyed the bunk-bed room complete with toys while the adults loved the big porch! We all loved the big up-dated bathroom.😊 (Even took some pictures for ideas we might use at home -good job!) Our activities in the area included a train ride on the Georgetown Loop Railroad; mine tour and panning for gold; and a trip into Denver for a baseball game. We found Georgetown to be a convenient location for a variety of activities and "Loop's End" a wonderful place to stay.

Confused by great ratings
I have to agree with the lodger from July of 2011. I understand that this is a very old house but that doesn’t excuse the fact that the fireplace had not been cleaned out, the place was dusty, no washcloths in the upstairs bathrooms and when we did find the other towels and washcloths they were stained and dingy. The pillows must be at least 10 years old because they are so flat that even two was not enough. I know a lot of the reviewers were happy that there was food available, but we found it difficult to fit in the food that we brought. Our first morning we woke to overturned trash cans and we had to clean up the previous tenant’s trash. Also if you are considering this property and you really do have fourteen people in your party I would recommend that you ask where guest 13 and 14 will sleep. From my count this house sleeps up to 12 people. I guess it reminded me of a relative’s cabin that they are kindly letting you use for free so you don’t expect much and you are grateful for the kindness. On the bright side our party of 10 fit quite comfortably in this house and we were able to all have a bed to sleep in. The beds were okay and the kitchen was well equipped. The three bathrooms were also nice for 10 women. We had a great time together in spite of the problems but will be looking for a different place to stay next year. This is my first negative experience with a VRBO rental. In the past if something small was wrong I write a positive review and then send a personal email to the owner expressing my concern. This time there was too much negative and felt I should share with future lodgers.
