"The pool was so nice and warm - it was such a nice change from all the cold pools we usually swim in!"

"Stayed here after snowboarding with my boys. We hit some tall beers at the Outback Steakhouse next door, then kept the party going at the 24-hour indoor pool. Feel like I've never been to a hotel where the pool is actually open, so it felt like something out of a dream. Truly beautiful night. Maybe bring your own pillow though. Coffee in the morning was good too."

"I enjoyed my stay. When we arrived, I was glad to find the driveway(semi-steep decline) free from ice and snow. The walk way to the front door had ample ice melt. The house was beautiful and very open on the main floor. We didn’t have a maximum capacity, but in the event, there would have been plenty of room for entertainment. A Large living room, plenty of sitting at the dining room table and a large well equipped kitchen would have no problem handling 12 people. The bedrooms (roomy) were clean and the beds were comfortable. It was nice to find space heaters in every room. I used one in my room and it took the nip out of the air. The showers! Very nice. As were the bathrooms. The use of the hot tub on the 20 something degree night was most welcomed. I own a hot tub and I appreciated its cleanliness. The chemicals were harsh. Even though I brought my spices for food, the owners and previous visitors provided a well stocked spice cabinet. There was plenty of toilet paper…. Nice for a change. Shampoo and soap were provided if you forgot yours. I thoroughly enjoyed lounging on the couch and looking at that beautiful view of the trees and multiple mountain peaks. The location was very close to Wintergreen resort…. Only a few turns.The messaging and correspondence with the owners left me feeling relaxed about my visit. I would stay here again. "

"We are not disabled but we were given a room and bath for the disabled. This makes the room more spacious. The room is very close to breakfast. Pleasant surprises do happen. "

"This was a perfect getaway in the mountains of Wintergreen for our ski weekend. The cabin has unmatched charm for real mountain getaway feel even though it is conveniently located in Wintergreen for ease of access to skiing. From the booking to the check-in, 2 night stay, and check-out, the experience was absolutely amazing. Our host, Nathan, was so accommodating and responsive, we could not have asked for more. The cabin is also located right next to the Appalachian Trail - even though we didn't use it due to the snow on the ground, we will DEFINITELY be back for a visit to this gem of a property. If you are looking for a getaway in the mountains with the convenience of proximity to Wintergreen and the AT, this is THE property to book. The cabin makes it feel like you are off the grid, but it still has the comforts and convenience you will appreciate if you bring your kids like we did (the always want WiFi and TV - go figure). Every question or request answered promptly by Nathan so we could focus on our time with our kids and enjoy the winter activities at Wintergreen. What more can I say? The COZY CABIN was simply PERFECT! Don't overthink it or look any further - this is the place to stay at Wintergreen."
