"Great place for a short family break away from any hustle and bustle. Plenty of entertainment for children and the wooden caravan is a fun alternative for a couple. Very efficient host and site well maintained . "

"The dinner was the best bit and the hosts were kind and welcoming! Everything else was a bit less than average. We were looking for a short stay with a spa and had used the filter in hotels.com to select the B&B. On arrival we were very surprised that the spa is not included in the room we had booked and were forced to upgrade. This was extra strange because the hot tub is not attached to the "suite" as you might expect. Instead its directly next to the main entrance which is also the kitchen....

"Stunning farm house that has been modernised perfectly with all the amenities you need. We enjoyed the tennis, pool and mini golf between wedding events we were attending nearby. The food was amazing, we really enjoyed our stay and slept brilliantly. "

"The property, pool and courtyard has been allowed to fall into disrepair. The pooo had mild all over the floor and the court yard around the pool area was filthy. The maintenance crew, left their equipment lying around to trip over and the pre swim shower system adjacent to the pool was not operational. All in all, a large letdown. "

"Good clean reasonably priced fairly new modern hotel with it’s own large secure car park. Comfy bed, good size shower/bathroom, tv & kettle, which is great. Some great artwork (by S.Binet) along the carpeted stairs/corridors, very nice touch. Breakfast was approx euro 11/Pers, which is a fair price, with plenty to choose from, they even supplied gluten free products for my coeliac wife, thank you!"

"Great welcome from the owner (granddaughter of the person who had the mansion built). Only 5 bedrooms in total which makes the place very homely. Great park to rest and a long sitting room (with tuned piano) to relax."

"This property was OK for us though we couldn't arrive before 1730. Dan did let us leave our bikes while we went off to find somewhere to have a drink. We felt very much that we were living in someone else's house e.g. the bathroom had all of the owners stuff still in it. Breakfast was fine. Usually French fare."

"Wonderful location with splendid views over river from large room. We extended to 8 nights so obviously good but tiny tiny wardrobe so clothes around room. However , we saw other rooms had much larger later so should have asked to change. Excellent overall"

"Beautiful hotel. Stayed here as we were attending a wedding. Very informative of the local area. Clean, tidy and beautiful rooms! We stayed in room 101- it is gorgeous with a little terraced outside. Friendly staff. Highly recommend the hotel and the area. Perfect location, lots of coffee shops near by. On the Saturday they had a food market right outside the hotel, then on the Sunday a mixed market. Friendly locals and beautiful setting! "

"I was extremely pleased with hotel de college! Beautiful hotel, well appointed room, very happy with the thermal baths right next door. My room also had a mini kitchen which was fantastic as a great to go kitchen basically across the street(and I was by myself doing the gr 65). I hate hotels who don't let you open the windows so this was also a plus. Best night of my trip so far!"

House has a great setup and we loved our stay

"We stayed at Cedric's property for three weeks, with friends coming to visit during that period. The house is really nicely set up to allow for entertaining and relaxing; the pool is the perfect temp, the house is cool during hot days and the living room and kitchen are spacious and well laid out. The bedrooms are large and cool during the night which was important for us - we prefer to sleep cold. Cedric was really helpful and suggested great local markets and restaurants. We realised (only after booking) that there are also michelin starred restaurants nearby, should you wish to dine out in those sort of places too. The local markets were really excellent and we found ourselves making good use of the kitchen. The furthest we really had to travel was a 20 min drive and that was entirely optional. The pool really made the experience for us; it's really relaxing to hang out there in the middle of the countryside. It's very private and you do feel like you can switch off. The place was clean (we also asked to have a cleaner midway through our stay). "

"The area was a little remote, but the house was exactly as described and plenty big enough for 3 family groups with a wide range in children’s ages. The outside areas worked brilliantly well, plenty of shade or sun as required. The area was really peaceful and we had deer wandering around the area. The property owner was really helpful with all our questions and responded really quickly. If I’m being picky due to the heatwave we would have appreciated. Air con in the downstairs bedrooms. Thank you for a wonderful stay! "

A wonderful time was had here....

"We spent almost a fortnight in this beautifully restored house right on the square in Castelsagrat. We had a wonderful time. It is very large house and very comfortable for 5 persons as it has 2 great bathrooms with very nice showers. There are 2 big bedrooms and there is really a 3rd ante-bedroom which is adjacent to one of 2 bathrooms. Through this ante-bedroom you reach the very spacious front bedroom looking out onto the Square. The 2nd bathroom, equally great bathroom with shower, has a small room containing the washing machine off it, and this bathroom serves the rear huge bedroom, overlooking the courtyard garden. The rooms have good shutters to keep the house cool as it can be warm in Summertime, and it was during our stay. We did not use the pool really as we were a party of 4 adults and were part of a big party of visitors to the area and had access to a larger pool during our visit. But it would be suitable for children, especially in the heat it would be a welcome facility. If you do travel with children, be sure you have a tv package like Netflix or equivalent as there is a tv appliance but there is no tv signal here. The rear courtyard is well shaded and cool, and we ate outside on a few occasions. The house has a good kitchen and a nice large fridge freezer. And there is a choice of 2 coffee machines, we used the filter coffee maker mostly. So, all in all, the facilities are very good. "The place we stayed in was absolutely spot-on. Everything that it said on the VERBO web site was correct. Everything in the gite function correctly.The place was comfortable and clean and the location was perfect, Quiet in the French country side in amongst orchards and vineyards.
