"Très bon accueil, endroit au calme, piscine sympa, de quoi se retrouver en famille ou entre amis. Il y a de la place. Le dehors est sympa aussi. A refaire sur la période été."

"We had a wonderful stay as a group of friends. We loved the farm feel and picking and snacking on sweet apples and walnuts. The pool was well used and host very helpful despite the language barrier. All in all a lovely stay!"

"Le lieu est magnifique mais les infrastructures ne sont pas au niveau. Les équipement de la maison sont en mauvais état, lampes non fonctionnelles, spot de sdb cassé, rideau de douche avec moisissures, poêles teflon usées….il y a une belle piscine très sale et le liner est mort, la piscine fuit donc rechargée 24/24 donc l’eau est glaciale, les transats sont usés donc inconfortables. Nous n’avons pas testé le retaurant…. La salle de billard est dans son jus comme la table . L’endroit pourrait...

The full house is not together but in 2 different section bit detached to each other. "Mr. Antoine gave us a full tour of the entire place emphasizing on the cleanliness of everything, even, moving couches and beds for us to check the cleanliness. The place is spotless and pretty modern. They invited us for l'apperot after the tour. This rental has everything that one would need for a nice romantic couple's getaways. "Greeting from Karen & Richard was so nice. A lovely couple who presented the property so very well. The gardens were immaculate and brilliant for the kids and our dog. We had a fantastic relaxing week. Visiting a few beautiful chateau’s. Great location just a few miles from the motorway, in the fantastic French country side. So access to the surrounding towns and villages are easy."

"We really enjoyed our stay and Alexis is the perfect host, he’s very responsive to all communication, even when the queries were probably inane! Like other comments, the gite has a bit of a strange layout but then that gives it character. Yes it’s on a main road but you soon ignore the noise. Everything is provided, the gite was very clean and the pool is a good size. I’d definitely recommend staying here"

"We had a wonderful stay at the cottage in Chaises Basses. It’s a beautiful, old and rustic farmhouse that was lovingly restored, with many original features including a very large fireplace. "The gite is lovely and oozes character - it's a special place. The pool is fantastic and there are plenty of loungers to be in the sun or shade. The BBQ area is great, as is the outside eating area. Dawn is a fantastic host. She was there to meet us and give us a good overview of the place. Easily contactable by text and very responsive. We had a great stay and would love to go back one day!"

"Nous avons passé 4 nuits en famille dans cette charmante maison. A notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis par les propriétaires qui nous ont donné toutes les informations nécessaires. All in all....great.

"Overall this was very good. Friendly staff. Nice big bedroom. All very clean and tidy...although it could do with updating, especially the bathroom. The bathroom was very clean but tired...although well scrubbed. The breakfast was plentiful with fruit, cereals, pastries, meats, cheese etc We didn't eat evening meal but it looked OK, but we went to old town Brive for a look around. Overall excellent stay and especially considering the low cost."

Old farmhouse with privat pool- BADEFOLS D'ANS

"The property was gorgeous, clean and the pool was stunning. The kitchen was well equipped. We had a lovely family holiday. Just a couple of points to note. The beds were very very firm, to the point of being uncomfortable. Firm beds are not for us. The listing said hot tub. We hadn’t seen one in the pictures so guessed it was a mis-print, but to confirm there is no hot-tub despite it being listed. The WiFi did not work at all. We called the host who was very good and came straight away but could not fix it. It did not get fixed the entire week we were there. You are in the countryside in an old house so mobile data signal was patchy to non-existent within the property. This can be frustrating when planning days out (or when you have teenagers.) We had a lovely holiday and visited some gorgeous locations in the region. The property was private and clean."

"The young lady on reception went out of her way to help me get a meal as the nearby restaurant was closed and there was nowhere nearby that I could reach on foot. We conquered the language barrier and I was able to have a meal delivered. Excellent service."
