"We enjoyed staying here more than words can stay. Hopefully we can return again next year! If you are looking for one of those resorts with parties and music all the time, this is NOT it. This rental is in Phase 1, which is one of the 2 smaller sections of condos. Usually there were no more than 10-12 people at the pool at any one time. Everyone here was helpful and friendly! This rental unit had everything we needed for the time we were there. Usually we just cooked and ate on our own deck....

"It’s good for people that is looking for a quiet place, they lied to me and said it was 5 minutes from el malecon, 5 minutes from plaza machado, this place is like 45 minutes away from the good attractions. Definitely upset with the communication about it "

"The building was super modern, very clean. The property itself was very quiet. You had everything that you needed if you want to cook. The rooftop pool and lounging area were a great place to hang out in the evening to look at the view. It was simply breathtaking you can see the lighthouse in the distance. "My 4th stay at Casa Barros. There is one big negative but many positives. PROS: The rooms are big, clean and modern. Nice washer and dryer so can pack less. Very nice little kitchen with stove, refrig, microwave, toaster and coffeemaker. Plenty of hot water with great pressure. Very nice staff. CONS: Only one but a big one. It is on a busy street and it is noisy with many motorcycles and loud pulmonias blaring music, especially on weekends. Bring your earplugs, you will need them"
