"I stayed in the old hotel many years ago and it was fine, the new building is fantastic, very clean and well laid out. The restaurant did a good selection and quality of food at a reasonable price. The breakfast was very good. Comfortable beds but ideally mattress toppers that don't move would be better. "The room was tiny, dirty and stuffy with no AC to help regulate the temperature. We had to pay extra for a bed that I would have assumed came with the room as I booked it for three people. Staff were often not around at the front desk to help, because they were short staffed. Machines in the games room, stopped working (although a discount was offered when this happened). Breakfast was okay. But the restaurant was overpriced and poor quality. We ordered Patas Braves and got and burnt plate...

"We've stayed here quite a few yearns now for Xmas and it's always been a bit hit and miss. It's not a bad hotel, but it somehow never seems to live up to the 5 stars. Service can be spotty, and the rooms have some very guest unfriendly features. For example, there's a table in every room that can be used to control a lot of the in-room functions, but the hotel also sends notifications to it daily at around 7am. So, unless you want to be woken up at 7am, make sure to drop the tablet into a drawer...
