"Wonderful stay. The view is amazing. Smaller vineyard compared to the big and more popular wineries in the area, which is what we like. The drive up is beautiful. About 35 minutes from Pinhao downtown. Moises greeted us and gave us the tasting tour. We didn’t expect to learn such an amazing family history of the people and the farm. Filipa brings us wonderful organic breakfast to our door every morning. You can see her working around the farm from early morning."

"For us, this was a great choice. A quiet location and we had a view of the river from our room and also from the common area patios. The hotel clerk gave us excellent advice to take the scenic train from the station across the street which was a wonderful experience. He also showed us a scenic drive through the wine country with a detour to a lookout point which was breathtaking. "We booked a room with 1 double bed and one single or twin bed in the same room, the hotel on the other hand seemed not to be aware of that and after being sent in a room with only one double bed we needed to change rooms, the advertised pool is empty, the breakfast is good, overpriced for what you get."
