"Despite putting filter on for parking and restaurant when searching , as we were booking in was informed that the restaurant here was not open on a Friday , Saturday or Sunday night ! Also bed was described as French size but didn’t take much notice and was a small double bed so not great after several hours driving to be squashed up ! "

"I enjoyed the stay. The hotel room is cute and clean. Very convenient location. One side (front desk side) is steps to the train station. The back side is to a street which you can walk to the sights of tourists interest."

"I arrived at about 3 pm. The hotel was with closed and locked gates. I was sure that it was closed as I didn’t see anyone inside. About 45 minutes later the reception person arrived from home. Apparently, his shift starts at 4 pm. I asked to be upgraded from a very old building to a new one. I had to pay extra for the upgrade. I got a room in the new building which was great. Location however is in a village about 30 km from Parma. I went to dinner in the village at a traditional restaurant which was excellent. I was the only tourist there. If you can deal with a very remote location, a closed reception until 4 pm, and if you get a room in the new building, then this is actually a 5 star experience."

"Stayed here for one night, really nice location that's close to everything. The hotel was able to provide a parking pass for us to park in the ZTL and we found a spot nearby. They provided clear instructions on where we could park, which was really thoughtful. Room itself was really spacious and clean, would definitely stay here again!"

"This is THE place to stay! This piazza is the main place in the whole of Mantua, and you'll be right next to everything. I was charmed to find myself in a room the size of an apartment, with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. I was less than charmed to find out that the Italian passion for saving energy meant that the washing machine and stove are turned off unless one stays for a month. I thought I was in a loft, but it turned out I could hear the people above me rearranging furniture until late each night, but other than that, it was charming and perfect."
