"Hospitable staff and excellent service. The property is not new but still in good shape. We saw monkeys hoping in the big coconut trees from our balcony (seaview). Everything is clean including swimming pool, nice fresh air. We hopped on tuktuk (three wheel motorbikes) to the town (about 2km away) for forex and shopping. We detested the salty shower at first but got used it eventually (just don't drink it). "

"Lovely stay made better by the warm welcome from the reception staff and stunning room with a view of the sea. I was a little apprehensive about my stay from some other reviews from black travellers. I was treated very well by all staff including those in the dining areas. I never once felt as if I was ignored or served slower than guests from Europe. Everyone was very professional and friendly. The food was great with a good gluten free selection at the buffet including baked gluten free goods (made from maize) for breakfast. The chefs were great at preparing separate food as well if asked for that was gluten-free. My room was beautiful although a little worn. The ambience and cleanliness of the property was otherwise stunning. Location also good not far from Ukunda airport. I was also very pleased to find out that Uber also works in Diani so it was easy to transfer to the airport."

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel situated in a nice peaceful tropical garden. The design of the place is really nice, mixing traditional elements to contemporary ones. The rooms are very spacious , with a large dressing room. There are tea and coffe facilities in the room that are refilled every day. Even the kettle is refilled everyday. A detail i really appreciated. Breakfast is great and served in a very nice open space. The staff is super friendly. We also had lunch by the pool which was also great. I really recommend this hotel.
