Romantic and secluded Nestled on 35 private acres on the river.

"We stayed from Friday the 15th until Sunday the 17th! It was NOT long enough! The location of this cabin is absolutely perfect! If you're looking for a cabin away from everything, this is IT! Its so peaceful you can hear the leaves crunch from the animals in the woods. We enjoyed every minute of it. We went for our anniversary and decided we will make it a tradition every year to go back. We were unable to build a fire even though we paid $30 for the wood. The wood was not left and it says not...

"This is the second time we have stayed at this cabin and it is a hidden gem! Everything works well- jacuzzi tub, hot tub, all appliances. Comes fully stocked and ready. Perfect if you want a well planned trip ahead of time but is ready to go for a last minute get away choice! Will book here over and over again! "

"This is a beautiful , secluded cabin in the woods. We felt like we were alone in the forest- no neighbors in sight till you walk down to the road. The front porch is unique- mountain theme and the supports are real trees. The backyard has a nice fire ring and nothing but trees in sight. The inside has a country- chic/ retro decor with a large stone fireplace. The kitchen is well- equipped for cooking. The location is near state parks and trails We enjoyed leaf peeping along the Little River...

"We had the best time at River Run! The home was gorgeous and in an ideal location. The owner was very responsive and quick to communicate. I would suggest updating the pots and pans that previous guests have ruined with metal utensils, and some WD40 on the patio doors, but there is nothing that would discourage me from returning! Thank you for a weekend of beautiful memories!"

"Everything was fantastic! Enjoyed a much needed getaway for a relaxing weekend. We loved seeing the deer in the driveway from the kitchen window. The hot tub was spot on after hiking all afternoon. If not for Monday meetings we would stay an extra day."

"I was excited about the Little Blue Cabin. It was just the perfect size for my husband and I for the long weekend in Mentone that I had planned for us. It was conveniently located. I loved the gas fireplaces. Very easy to operate. The queen mattress downstairs was very comfortable. The couch was a bit worn and not very comfortable. "Host was super! Communication was early, clear, and as thorough as I needed. House was as advertised and more! Located central to trails, sites, restaurants and all the area has to offer. Would highly recommend! "

Plenty of extra towels, sheets, pillows, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. The only thing missing was something to use as a chip clip for open bags of snacks but there was a roll of tape in the drawer so all needs were met! The location is perfect. The Citadel boulders were a great surprise. We enjoyed exploring. We would choose this property again."

"Beautiful home and beautiful area. Very rustic. I didn’t have any hand soap in the bathroom I was using but that was no biggie; I just grabbed the soap from one of the other bathrooms. The cleaning fee was a little high but still a beautiful place to stay."

"Delightful stay and thoughtful hosts. Property is immaculate and exactly as pictured. Location is spectacular with stunning scenery and everything nearby. The only thing I’d change is a more comfortable sofa to snuggle up and watch TV on when it’s rainy or cold and staying in is more attractive. We’ll be back!"

BASS CABIN w/ Hot Tub - Get Away From It All!

Nice getaway

"We stayed 2 nights in this quaint little cabin. We came to see the fall foliage in DeSoto State Park and Little River Canyon. We were not disappointed. The Cabin is far enough out to feel privacy, but close enough to get to Ft Payne in a short time. The cabin is perfect for couples, but be prepared to climb a steep ladder to the loft and twin beds if your group is more than 2 people. Be sure to screen shot your check in info including door code, because cell service is spotty. There is good WiFi in the cabin. It’s not a fancy place but is comfortable and convenient. The hot tub is nice. It is not walking distance to the park, but it’s only a few minutes drive away. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Staff very friendly and welcoming. The dining room staff was also very friendly and welcoming. Very nice hotel, could tell it is well maintained. The breakfast is ok, only wish the coffee in the room matched the quality of the lobby coffee. Also enjoyed the evening cookies, such a nice little treat. Also the bed was extremely comfortable. We really enjoyed our one night stay."
