"We had a fantastic stay in this lovely, rustic property. Great for families with the pool and spacious grounds. Praysaac is also a very pretty, vibrant little town. There is also so much to do in the surrounding area. Cahors is only a 30 minute drive and there are plenty of villages, towns and chateau nearby. Everything you could wish for. We were sad to leave."

"We were a party of 5 young at heart seniors who enjoyed every minute. The accommodation was of a high standard and a lot of thought went into the detail to make our stay 5*. The beds were very comfortable and the ensuites immaculate. The weather at the time was hot and we made use of the lovely pool and aircon. The location was perfect, isolated and quiet, yet only 6km from a delightful village Monpazier. I hope we have the pleasure of returning again. Thank you Sonja & Mark"

"Characterful farmhouse in beautiful countryside .Far enough away from neighbours that you can let your hair down but can also enjoy the complete peace and quiet too.Beautiful Belvès and Cadouin a shortish drive away ensured restaurants when you fancies. The local night markets are not too be missed. During the heat wave the pool was essential and any issues with it were quickly resolved. There are low beams throughout the property with thoughtfully hung pom-poms to bring your attention to them....

"We were given a lovely welcome by Maria and Santiago, and a nice basket of local food and drink. The grounds of the house are beautiful and spacious with plenty of activities and lots of equipment. The pool was super. The house is very well equipped with all you need. Our week coincided with a serious heatwave and it was impossible to keep the bedrooms cool despite the fans. "As described in the other reviews, well equipped and a good size house. The free range eggs being collected daily was a good bonus. Good size lake on site for fishing. Pool was good and so was the hot tub. Not a bad location, exactly what we were looking for deep in the French countryside. Philippe was very helpful, spoke good English, seen to the pool every few days and was there for any questions at their other property a few hundred metres away without being invasive at all. "This was a pleasant surprise and I don’t think the pictures or description did it justice. We stayed with my Parents-in-law and the Annex worked perfectly to give them space. Kids loved the pool and the hot tub was a nice addition. Daglan is a lovely village to be close too as well."

"Sadly the pool was is need of substantial repair. The cracked slabs and crumbling cement around the pool was dangerous for bare feet and attracted wasps to nest. Not ideal for young children and babies. There was a constant bad smell in the kitchen due to drainage problems in the area of the sink. The setting is idyllic and very peaceful in amongst the forest but we got bitten alive with all the woodland mosquitoes."

"We stayed for a week and hired both gites for our family. It was utterly perfect in every way - we wanted for nothing. We most enjoyed the privacy of the main pool which overlooks luscious countryside bustling with life and the stunning western sunsets in the cool sky. Sonia and Mark are consumate well experienced hosts who always try to accommodate any requests where possible.
