While there is a convenient airport shuttle, it is the first time we were told the driver would not help us with our luggage!"

I’m someone who likes to go for early morning walks or grab coffee nearby, and I did feel a little uncomfortable in the few blocks directly surrounding the hotel. It wasn’t unsafe, but it didn’t feel quite as welcoming as I expected, especially compared to the rest of Barcelona. However, once I walked about 10–15 minutes, I reached the lively, central area of La Rambla and felt completely at ease. Despite that, I can’t say enough good things about the hotel itself. It’s a wonderful place to stay, and I’m glad I chose it. "
