Riverside Princess is in one of the historic subdivisions of Gatlinburg and adjoins the famous Trout Stream which meanders through the heart of Gatlinburg. Her deck overlooks the stream and is perfect for a romantic dinner serenaded by rushing water. The hot tub allows guests to enjoy the outdoors in cooler weather. Both the bedroom and living room overlook the stream, with the rapids singing guests to sleep.

Acquired from a family whose ownership lasted several decades, Riverside Princess was completely renovated several years ago, interior and exterior, including conversion from a two-bedroom layout to a large and romantic one bedroom layout to accommodate its king-size bed and over sized bathroom featuring custom inlaid slate shower and sauna. After entering the cabin in the kitchen you step down in to the sunken living area and then another step up will take you to the bedroom or bathroom. The entire interior is finished in tongue and groove with hardwood floors.

Accented with antiques, and 42-inch television in the living room and bedroom.. We can assist with trout stamp/license information, and the river is stocked with trout weekly most of the year so even a novice fisherman is assured of an enjoyable catch.

As one of only a dozen or so cabins still available on the river and in downtown Gatlinburg, Riverside Princess is sure to become your favorite hideaway in the Smokies.

Cozy cabin!
Renting the cabin was a breeze! Awesome location, we loved listening to the river, very relaxing, and everything was in walking distance! I was lucky enough to see one of the locals( a young bear) walking down the road from the cabin! Thanks for an amazing family vacation!

Quaint getaway!
Beautiful place to stay by the river! It was exactly like the pictures showed. We thoroughly enjoyed using the outdoor deck every morning to have coffee on! One night we had dinner outside and were never bothered by bugs! The couches were comfortable to sit on, and the bathroom was spacious. A few things to consider before renting this cabin: To get to the front door, you must be able to climb stairs. Once inside, it is multi-level, so you are stepping down into living room, stepping up to bedroom or stepping up to bathroom. You are able to directly go from bedroom to bathroom and vice versa on the same level. The kitchen cook space is very limited. If you plan on eating out, or easily adapt to new environments, this won’t be an issue. The kitchen is well stocked, including a crock pot and a blender. The washer and dryer is a stacked set, so plan to wash small loads. We were informed ahead of time to bring our own laundry soap, etc., so that was very helpful (if you hadn’t already planned). The cabin has plenty of lights, just not bright. It definitely had a warm and inviting glow, but for a need for bright lights, especially in the bathroom for make-up, pack a portable light! We stayed Monday through Friday and really enjoyed the chalet! Not one time did we wish we stayed someplace else. We would be back and we also highly recommend this place!

Great stay
Wife and i stayed five night was great. The walk into the downtown area is not that bad. (We are both over 60.)The only thing that could have been better was no screnes on the windows so you could not here the river like i would have liked at night. But we had a great stay very quite and nice to relax in. Sit out on the deck and listen to the river run by. Sit in the hot tub. Everything was very nice.

We loved our stay! The hot tub and sauna were great bonuses! The creek right out front was great. You could hear it all the time. It's a bit of a walk to down town, I would definitely drive and park. We would definitely stay again!!!

Down by the river
Cabin is really close to shops and dining in Gatlinburg but you would never know it! Surrounded by trees and next to a flowing river- all you hear is the sounds of the rushing water. Comfortable bed and everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. I would stay in this cabin again.

Perfect property for my wife and our 11 pound miniature husky. Zero yard, but was able to walk the dog down the dead end street, very little traffic. We are walkers, so walking the mile to the middle of downtown Gatlinburg was not a problem for us. Several places were much closer. Property was clean, had everything we expected and needed. Everything worked as advertised. Loved the two shower head shower and the hot tub, things we do not have at home. Being right on the river was an added bonus. We had a perfect vacation and hope we can come back next year.

Looking forward to returning!
This little cottage was perfect for my husband and I. Loved the quaint space; very homey and welcoming. Our visit was during the second week of December. The cottage was beautifully decorated for Christmas, including a Christmas tree! The fireplace was also wonderful. It was so peaceful sitting by the fire and hearing the music of the crackling fire. You can also hear the river as well. The large double head shower was beautiful but beware there is not alot of hot water. It's a good thing the shower is big enough for two because there is not enough hot water for two consecutive showers. The hot tub was very relaxing. It is semi- private; in partial view of the next door neighbor. A support arm for the hot tub cover would be nice. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and look forward to returning to the Riverside Princess!

The Wiley Experience
Our overall experience was great. One problem that we observed was the two step down into the den area and the two step up into the bathroom and bedroom araes. There were some small green insects outside that would not go away. The hot tub is for two people only. The cabin is cozy, relaxing and the view of the river is a million dollar screen shot. I would recommend this cabin to any couple wanting to getaway into a nice relaxing cabin-like place and very close to the Gatlinburg downtown area. We had a Great experience. Thanks

It is not a place to stay if one is handicapped. Did not realize there were so many steps in the cottage. My husband fell going from the bedroom to the icing room and our trip was basically ruined. Wish we had stayed home and not wasted our money. Was nice to hear the river. Nice place but not good for us.

This is a beautiful cabin for a couple. You can view of the river from the bedroom, living room and balcony. The bed was very comfortable. There was a fireplace but it can not be use until October. There was a sauna but we did not use it. We did use the hot tub on the balcony. The cabin is on a dead end road. You will have neighbors so you want have that much privacy. If you plan on BBQ you only have access to a small grill that is use in a park. If you want to go to any attractions they are .6 mile walk down the road. If you drive it’s about 10 dollars to park. I use a Uber to go and walked back. I will stay at this cabin again.

Great little cabin! No access to water. Condo near by where people live.
We had a great stay, close to the strip. The only drawbacks were that there is NO access to the water, there is about a 4 foot drop to the water and there is a small condo complex right nextdoor where locals live. They were absolutely no bother but it was unexpected. This is NOT a cabin for children, the living room is sunken with steps to every other room, no tub. Our 7 month old did fine as she can't walk but it would be trouble for any walking children. Great couples retreat for couples wanting to be close to the strip. I did not hear any noise from the strip as other reviews stated. We saw a bear, beaver, blue heron and tons of smaller wildlife!
