RIGHT IN GATLINBURG! LUXURY LOG CABIN ON THE ROARING FORK RIVER!

Welcome to River Song, the Gatlinburg cabin that fits in the "Oh My!" category. Only a mile (yes, you can walk!) from downtown Gatlinburg, River Song is a hand-crafted log cabin constructed of Yellow Pine logs imported from British Columbia. The cabin sits directly on the Roaring Fork River, and you will hear the “song” of the river throughout the cabin, day and night.

Fly fishers can enjoy wading up and down the Roaring Fork and catching rainbow trout – the Roaring Fork is public water and is routinely stocked, with trout reaching as large as 14 inches. Watch for bears! Bears visit River Song frequently!

Guests can sip a cup of coffee or tea watching the River on the front porch, or crank open the casement windows and watch & listen to the River from the dining and living room areas. Cooks will love the higher-end KitchenAid stainless appliances, including range, cooktop, and convection/microwave. A large, stainless steel French door refrigerator will easily hold a full stock of food items. The stocked kitchen is appointed with unique quarried granite countertops and fine cabinetry.

Guests will overlook the Roaring Fork while eating meals at the hand-built, solid hickory dining table with handmade chairs. The living room includes a stone stack wood-burning fireplace, leather furnishings, and 43 inch LED TV. The living room sofa opens into a queen bed for extra guests. Casement windows can be opened for fresh air or sounds of the River.

The hot tub deck is immediately off of the living room, and allows guests to soak take in the sights and sounds of the Roaring Fork River. Suspended from the ceiling is a lighted, antique wooden canoe.

The master bedroom boasts comfy mattresses on a large, aspen log bed. Guests can indulge in the clawfoot tub in the master bath, which includes a vanity with granite, and his and hers sinks, as well as a separate shower.

Upstairs, a billiards room awaits, with a solid aspen log, slate top pool table and mounted LED television. A guest bedroom with comfortable queen size mattresses is also upstairs, as well as a separate bathroom area with shower (no tub)

River Song has a park-style outdoor barbeque grill, washer/dryer, a private, gated bridge, and board games for the whole family.

50th Birthday celebration!
Amazing cabin. Everything lived up to the online listing and we were excited as soon as we opened the front door. The cabin is very easy to access and close to downtown. Cabin is very well equip with all the items needed to make your stay easy.The master bed is rather small, especially for two adults but it was very comfortable. The upstairs bed squeaks a lot and is directly above the master, so it did cause a little distraction as people would toss and turn in the night. We did have a slight issue with a lady bug, especially up stairs. There were 100's of them near the bedside lamps. Good thing they were just ladybugs!! Would definitely visit again and would highly recommend.

Everything was as described. The only thing that I would change would be finding a way to keep the lady bugs out. We were infested … we just had to keep the lights off upstairs to keep them away. Otherwise the property was exactly as described … very nice

Honestly the cabin was ok. We were only there for 2 nights. We kinda expected there to be a nice view and there wasn’t. The “river” in front kinda looks like a big ditch. The parking is not so great and kinda dangerous but i know they can’t do anything about it. There were lady bugs and stink bugs everywhere. (We didn’t contact management because there was no point). If you sit at the bar the light above has lady bugs on it and one fell in my son’s food. I do understand that lady bugs are common but it was annoying. We also couldn’t get the hot tub to heat up at all. We tried turning up the temp but it still didn’t heat up. (Again we didn’t contact management) I’m sure that could’ve been fixed but we were only there for a short time so we didn’t bother saying anything about it. I also looked for a regular broom to sweep up the lady bugs and stink bugs that we were walking on and couldn’t find one. The rugs in the down stairs bathroom should’ve been replaced a long time ago. We were honestly disgusted to stand on them. We traveled with my sister and her family and they had a cabin that was extraordinary and so nice for the same price as this one so we were very disappointed. I would’ve loved for our cabin to have been decorated for Christmas but it wasn’t. Honestly the little things matter. We honestly ended up spending most of our time at my sisters cabin because ours was just disappointing.

Awesome cabin
This cabin was beautiful and the perfect size for our group. It was very convenient to all the activities in Gatlinburg and pigeon Forge yet far enough away where it was quiet, peaceful and the running water in the creek was comforting. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay there again!!

Beautiful cabin with amazing river sounds. Saw a lot of bears and the cabin location is ideal especially if you don’t want to drive up in the mountains if afraid of heights. I would absolutely recommend this cabin and would love to stay here again.

We came into Gatlinburg for a few days to hike Mount Le Conte. The house was exactly as described online. The sound of the river was amazing! The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and soaking in the hot tub. I would recommend this house to anyone!

CABIN OASIS
The cabin is gorgeous. The work they did inside is beautiful. The creek running in the front provides the perfect sound and setting for such a nice cabin. The staff that does the cleaning is amazing. I am a harsh critic on cleanliness and this place fit the bill. Great location - we walked to Ole Red and beyond every day. We also really loved the story of the cabin. Such a cool spot.

Beautiful and relaxing on the river .
We loved our stay. The river is so soothing and cabin is clean and beautifully decorated. We had some very interesting bear visitors and loved watching for them daily. Close to town and easy access to grocery store and Pigeon Forge. Here during the hurricane and the wood burning fireplace was nice for the rain and cooler weather. We hope to visit again very soon. We saw a Bobcat as well. We counted 38 bears sightings during our 5 days stay. The host is super easy to contact and answers immediately. Planning our next stay soon.

We had an amazing stay! This cabin is about a mile from the Gatlinburg strip! Very clean and beautiful cabin! Has all your basics which was nice! We had a visitor come knocking on the door (black bear maybe 2-4 years old) scared the crap out of me lol but was wonderful to see so much nature! Lil river out front was nice to sit and listen to in the morning and evening. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again!

Amazing cabin!
This cabin was perfect! It was my husband and I with our 20 yo son and his friend. They really enjoyed the pool table. The kitchen was stocked with all that we needed to cook breakfast at home most mornings and several suppers. Just an FYI - there is no disposal. I had to contact management for a few things and they responded very quickly. We had a visit from a bear 3 days out of our 6. Yikes! I highly recommend this cabin!

Amazing!!!!
This was our first time in Gatlinburg. The cabin was just as beautiful as the pictures listed. Everything was clean and ready when we arrived. We had no issues during our stay.The sound of the river was so soothing. I will definitely stay again for any future trips. We were very lucky as we seen 1 to 3 bears every day with a total of 6 different ones and the very awesome sighting of 2 cubs that came down the mountain with mama just to the right of the front deck. Another mama had a cub across the street. Overall, this is an amazing cabin to stay in!! Thank you for this awesome experience!!!!
