Moonbeams & Star Dreams is a stylishly decorated, luxury log cabin conveniently located on over 2 acres. Less than a mile off route 321 and only 11 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, no feature has been overlooked in this spacious, lodge inspired log home. With 3 private decks, 2 king bedrooms, 1 queen sleeper, 3 full bathrooms and extra-large game room this cabin comfortably sleeps 5. From inside the cabin or out enjoy gorgeous mountain views of Great Smoky Mountain National Park that extend all the way down to Ski Mountain in Gatlinburg.

Everyone will enjoy the huge game room with full size pool table, 3 arcade games including Cruzin' USA, Skins Golf and a new Atari Upright with over 400 games. It also has a full size sleeper sofa and love seat to enjoy watching a 55" LED TV with satellite, sound bar, subwoofer and Blu-ray DVD. A full size bathroom is only steps away from the covered lower deck with a hot tub.

The generously sized modern kitchen is open to the living area. Upscale appliances are ready to prepare a meal, snack or heat up last night's leftovers. Brew a cup of coffee or bring your favorite Keurig coffee for the 2nd coffee machine. Steps away on the front patio you can grill your favorite meal.

The living room's relaxing, cozy lodge furniture is perfect for snoozing or watching the 50" LED TV with satellite, sound bar, subwoofer and Blu-ray DVD. A leather easy chair is just the right spot to gaze at the mountains. Unwind and read a book in the swivel chair, spin it around to enjoy the view or gaze up at the moon through a large picture window. When it rains unwind on the covered back deck or covered front porch and enjoy the soothing sounds of a Smoky Mountain rainfall. In winter the deck is the perfect spot to experience a Smoky Mountain winter wonderland.

Two private bedrooms have Aspen Log King beds, flat screen TV's, large closets, and en suite full baths. Each nightstand has a charging station with 2 outlets and 2 USB ports. The master bath has a jetted Jacuzzi tub and step in shower. The Master also has a special private deck to enjoy that can only be accessed from the bedroom.
As night falls on the mountains you see a palate of stars unfold brightly in the sky. You'll enjoy moonlit mountains as you notice all the lights twinkling on the side of Ski Mountain. Those two rows of lights atop that mountain is the ski run at Ober Gatlinburg. You have arrived. Just sit down, relax and enjoy.

The house was exactly as described if not better. Perfect for 2 couples. Game room a nice bonus. Views were beautiful. Ride from main road up to house is paved and fairly easy to navigate. It was my first time to area. Location was convenient. Easy ride to Gatlinburg. I would not hesitate to book this home again

2nd timers after enjoying fall break stay
We really like this cabin and the neighborhood. It’s quiet! It’s somewhat secluded and private. The views are perfect for the Smokies! Cabin is comfortable, clean, very nice. It was too cool outside to use the hot, for me at least. We go to town for dinner, don’t really cook at all, except coffee. But the kitchen seems well stocked. Saw NO WILDLIFE at all this time. Darn, but really came to to see the view again, which we did from inside ad we read.

Absolutely Perfect
This cabin was beautiful so much effort was put into every little detail. From the inside decor to outside landscaping right down to the stylish folding of the towels. Enjoyed our breakfast at the table on the top deck and soaking in the hot tub at night. Wi-Fi was a bit spotty but with so much offered to do in this cabin we never missed it. Thank you Moonbeams and Stardreams for a wonderful time.

Perfect weekend getaway
We just wanted a quiet cabin with a nice view for a couple days and this was it. Super clean, perfectly comfortable, removed enough to be quiet but not so removed we couldn't get to things if we wanted to. If that's what you're looking for, highly recommend Moonbeams and Star Dreams!

Panoramic views from cabin. You felt secluded although other cabins around....you couldn't see them or they see us. I've traveled many places, but this was BY FAR my most favorite and our host was incredibly helpful

A view of the mountains but none of the neighbors
The cabin was exceptionally clean with furniture and decorations of high quality. We enjoyed towels made into swans and other details that gave our stay a resort feeling. Other cabins were nearby and you could hear people at times but the vegetation made it so you didn’t see the neighbors at all with an incredible view of the mountains. I was initially concerned when I received an email listing a variety of fees that would be charged if damage occurred during the stay requiring a credit card. It was explained that this was in Lieu of a damage deposit. After staying in the cabin I can see why the owner is so protective of the property and no charge was made to the card after our stay. The owner was easy to communicate with and the cabin was cleanest, best maintained VBRO I have stayed in. I would stay there again.

Hated to leave!
Of all the places we’ve stayed in we thoroughly enjoyed this the most. This place was so conveniently located to everything. It was just my self and my two daughters and I was not concerned one bit about the safety as we felt secure and although there was a lot of space between us, there were other houses in the development. But far enough apart, where we didn’t feel like we they were on top of us. The view is absolutely spectacular. The rooms are spacious, but cozy. Everything was clean and in working order. We enjoyed everything about this cabin! We will definitely be staying here again.

The cabin was perfectly located for a great view of the mountains. I liked the relative privacy of the cabin - it was very quiet. The road to the cabin is a bit tricky - but it was worth it. Landlord took care of any immediate issues and she was very easy to work with. Sunsets were beautiful!

First Visit to Gatlinburg
We stayed at the cabin with our toddler to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. Our stay far exceeded our expectations and the area had so much to offer. The cabin has unsurpassed views of the mountains and downtown Gatlinburg. While the other nearby cabins can be heard, they cannot be seen as the trees provide excellent privacy. The cabin is well stocked but you have to supply your own cleaning products such as paper towels and wipes, if needed. The game room and hot tub were a bonus even though we did not use them. Make sure you lock your vehicle and cabin doors as you will be visited by bears during your stay. On our last night, a bear family paid us a visit on the front porch. We look forward to returning to Gatlinburg and the cabin in the near future :)

After booking we received all correspondence through email with easy to follow directions. We received our door code before 4:00 while we were still driving. We showed up and went right in. This place is better than advertised. The game room and hot tub were great. The upper balconies were also really nice with fantastic views. This cabin is far enough away from downtown Gatlinburg that you don’t have to deal with all the congestion but close enough to get there with a short drive. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need to cook if you choose to. We used the charcoal grill and had all the grilling tools necessary to do so. We will definitely rent this cabin again in the future and would recommend to any body.

The cabin is extremely clean and the location is amazing. Perfect for a family. We enjoyed the beautiful views, the hot tub, and the basement with the video games. Internet wasn’t available and there are no smart TVs. There is dsl but we were not successful with its use and had to hotspot.

Very nice cabin but lacked hospitality
We arrived at the cabin 30 mins before check-in. The host Anita did not let us go in to the cabin because they were trying to fix the fire place. We had just traveled from a long 12 hour drive from South Florida so she made us wait in the car until it was time for check-in. I don’t understand why she didn’t let us start putting our bags in the bedrooms while they were in the living room fixing the gas fireplace. She was very rude and told us we would have to wait until she sent us the check-in code which she didn’t send until after 4pm (by the way). They were unable to fix the fireplace until the next day (late afternoon) when they sent out two workers to fix it. Meanwhile, we were unable to use the fireplace the first couple of days of our stay and she didn’t even offer to give us a credit or a late check out to make up for the inconvenience. The cabin itself is very nice and clean and my daughter enjoyed the game room downstairs, however, I was not impressed considering what we paid for the cabin. The stairs to go to the basement are very steep so be careful when going down to the game room. The road to get up to the cabin is a bit scary because it does not have barriers.

This cabin was beautiful! Not only was it clean it was entertaining! My kids loved the game room while my husband and I enjoyed some quiet time by the fireplace. We hated to leave and both my girls and I cried. We can’t wait to plan another trip soon!
