Escape with your loved one to "Hugs and Kisses". A quaint little luxury cabin located in the Great Smoky Mountains. Enjoy some rest and relaxation in the two person hot-tub or enjoy a good book in one of the rocking chairs on the back porch.

Downtown Gatlinburg boasts many attractions, shops and restaurants and is less than 4 miles away. If you are more of an outdoors person, you can find yourself white water rafting, horseback riding, hiking to a beautiful waterfall and much more. "Hugs and Kisses" is located in beautiful Mountain Shadows Resort. At Mountain Shadows you get a sense of wooded seclusion with the amenities of a resort – two swimming pools, clubhouse, playground and pavilion.

Designed as an extension of the Smoky Mountains National Park, the developers of Mountain Shadows Resort were careful to preserve the area's wilderness setting. Nature and wildlife abound, in all four seasons. The roads are paved and very well maintained even during inclement winter weather conditions, The swimming pool with its cascading waterfall and the resort grounds are meticulously kept and naturally beautiful.

There is a large king size bed and an optional pack and play for those new parents who just aren't ready to leave that little one behind.

The kitchen is fully equipped to cook a meal for two.

There is a smart TV, DVD Player, Netflix, HULU and Disney +

The property was great, very cozy. When there are no neighbors, the parking can be a little weird, and when all 3 are there it can get very tight. Make sure you park in the middle, to the left of the steps! Over all we loved it.

We had an amazing time and stay. The cabin was more than we expected. We spent every night talking in the jacuzzi. Even though there are cabins around us, it was very quiet and peaceful. We will definitely be back. Only downside was that there was no pen for us to write in the guest book

We had a great stay here. The bed and couch are super comfortable, the jacuzzi is excellently placed and relaxing, and the privacy is enjoyable. The only changes that could be made to improve this stay would be newer/better connectivity with the remotes that control the lights and fans and a larger dehumidifier. We emptied the dehumidifier many times over the course of our stay. We had no issue with this, but it was inconvenient at times. We were wary of using the outdoor hot tub as well. This was due to an apparent lack of added support on the deck. Overall, we had a wonderful, memorable stay and would recommend this VRBO to anyone.

Beware!
Beware!! This cabin has a huge moisture issue that will get you sick! Checked in 7/12 and as soon as we walked into the cabin, we were smacked in the face with an awful smell that caused an instant headache. We soon determined that the smell was mildew. The cabin wasn’t cleaned prior to our check in and the bed clothes were nasty. (Mildew, stained and hairs all over them) After contacting the host, she told us that her house keeper couldn’t come until the next day and she offered to “pay for dinner”. We asked her to cover the cost of a hotel for the night or provide a full refund and we would find another place to stay and she said “she couldn’t do that”. So we were forced to go to Walmart and spend $80 on new bedding and cleaning supplies and did her cleaners job. So needless to say, we spent hours of our time shopping, cleaning and going back and forth with VRBO and the host to do nothing. The following day, the “house keeper” brought us new/clean pillows and a humidifier and the humidifier bucket was full within a few hours. Proving again there’s a bigger issue that needs addressed with a contractor. It smelled better for a few hours but then started to smell bad again and I got another headache so we had to cut our trip short and left Saturday instead of Sunday. DONT book this cabin unless you plan to bring cleaning supplies, bedding and sleep with the doors/windows open so you don’t get sick! I have pictures to share if it will allow me.

Great Place
This place is wonderful, Small romantic little cabin. Very Clean and the owner very easy to contact. Everything we needed for a week's stay for sure. Close to Gatlinburg where we shopped until we dropped. Pigeon Forge is not far away either. Ate at a couple really great restaurants, one being the Alamo. Cant go without saying the Hot Tub was wonderful. We will Be Back for sure!!

My husband and I celebrated my birthday at this adorable cabin. The location was excellent minutes from downtown and all the activities but also close to the national park. The cabin was clean and well stocked with supplies. Everything was in good working order. The neighborhood was quiet. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after a day of hiking. We will definitely be back. Thanks for sharing your property with us.

our overall stay was just okay. when we arrived at the cabin it was a very scary location on the mountain. We walk in the cabin and the sheets are wet as well as the comforter, there was also stains on the bed. we slept on the top of the bed all week. The bathroom was not clean the sink had dried toothpaste all over it. i did let the owners know snd never heard a response.
