Need to pay more attention in the cleanings .
As soon as you walk in there was a horrible smell like mold and cigarette and humidity combined . The policy says no pets allowed but the beds sheets and covers and sofas were full of pets white hair. Had to go to sleep after washing all the bedding late at night. Because they were smelly and full of white hair . The sponge at the kitchen was old and smelly .

We have enjoyed our stay very much. Cozy home, close to town, and the staff was so friendly and helpful. But our favorite part was the bears! We almost didn't want to leave! Thank you for the wonderful stay, and the warm welcome.

Beautiful home, great views of Mt. LECONTE. The property manager was a wonderful handling a minor fire alarm issue. Pong and pool table entertained the young adults along with the super hot tub. Great place to stay

Great house in the Smokey mountains
Love the location of the house on top a mountain, at the same time very close to downtown Gatlinburg. The house had plenty of fun things for adults and kids. We will definitely try and come here again

Wonderful Stay
Our family very much enjoyed staying at this chalets. The check in and check out were seamless and Gwen was so attentive to us by calling and making sure we knew she was available for us if needed. There were 6 adults and 2 children and plenty of room. The home was very clean and just how it appeared on the listing. It is very close and easy to get to downtown. The views from the porch were amazing no matter what time of day. We will definitely be booking this chalets again for our next family trip to Gatlinburg!

Everything we needed
I was looking for a rental with a great location, a good amount of space for my family of five, and some activities for the kids and thats exactly what I got. It is not the fanciest or newest, but the space, proximity to gatlinburg and awesome view was totally worth it. We all loved the the hot tub room and my kids were thrilled with the air hockey table. We had a great stay

Great Stay
We loved the location just a few minutes to the Gatlinburg strip! The house was perfect for our group and had amazing views!! Kids loved the variety of games and the hot tub room! Hostess was amazing even left us a welcoming gift and was in contact with us when there was a major alert in the area! The driveway was very easy to access not straight up hill like some nearby. Would highly recommend!!

Cabin on the mountain.
We had a great experience, it was my wife and daughters first time going to Tennessee. The cabin was great, the views were perfect, and everything we wanted to go to was just right down the street. We will definitely be back for our next vacation!!!

Amazing location, clean stay
The location for getting to Gatlinburg and hiking is fantastic if you still want something of a view, which they have. The property was clean and had everything we needed. Property manager was very helpful. It is a bit older so if you’re looking for something new and updated this may not be it. But it kept our family with 4 young adults and one child very busy with all the games. Our family had a nice time here.

Spring Smokies Break
Everything was great! The property manager called before we arrived and let us know ahead of time that the heating element in the hot tub went out and they would be by to fix it that evening. Quickly fixed that issue and answered all my questions I had. This property is great for a family vacation has an amazing view as well! We had 8 total with my wife and our 6 children. Would definitely stay here again!

Early Christmas Vacation
We enjoyed our stay, there was plenty of room for our family of 8. The house was clean and comfortable. We loved the Christmas tree. Gwen was very responsive to any questions or concerns. The light upstairs was out she had maintenance there in no time to fix the problem. I would definetly recommend this house.

FYI...The cabin and amenities were rated a 9.75 out of 10. The only issue was the towels smelled like cigarette smoke. I know there is a no smoking policy but unfortunately not all renters honor it. Thanks for everything...we will be back !!!

Not handicap accessible/ poor communication
Although our trip was relaxing, we had multiple issues starting from arrival. Our code to access the chalet wasn't what we were told it would be and we had trouble contacting the owner. This was resolved with a later checkout time which while appreciated only started our bad experience. My MIL is on a walker and the chalet is listed as handicap accessible. There were absolutely no walk in showers and it was difficult for her to get around the house with a walker. She was confined to a couple of rooms and wasn't able to shower for our entire stay. We also had issues with the heat not warming. When we contacted the owner, we never heard anything back from her. We froze for 3 nights even sleeping in sweatshirts and bundled up. We had to keep the oven turned on and bathroom heaters going just to keep it tolerable. The upstairs room dropped into the 50s at night. We will definitely not be renting from this owner again.

Deck was great!
This house is in a great spot for views! There are neighbors and other houses around this property -but ANYWHERE in this area, you will have neighbors. This house sits high on ski mountain and above the other houses, which makes you feel secluded. We really enjoyed the large covered deck and while we were enjoying the deck had a large bear climb the six foot privacy fence and wander through the back yard during our stay! (We were warned-Do NOT leave food outside or in your vehicle while you are here!) THERE ARE BEARS!! The views from the deck, morning to night, were beautiful. You overlook the town of Gatlinburg and can see the lights at night. The indoor hot tub was clean and enjoyable on cool evenings and the views from the hot tub....wow! The master bed was very comfortable and we liked that each bedroom had a smart TV. FYI-The master bathroom tub has no drain plug to take a bath. (shower only). There were adequate towels and washcloths for all guests in both bathrooms.. The kitchen had the essentials, but lacked a large frying pan. There is a crockpot. The large couch was very comfortable and we used the gas fireplace to warm up a couple of the nights we were there. The pool table and air hockey were big hits. We were VERY pleasantly surprised to see that the arcade game had been moved from where is shows in the photos and is now set up in the great room and not tucked away upstairs. This made for many more opportunities for our kids to play and enjoy. It is important to note that the drive to get to the house is located up incredibly steep, winding, very narrow roads. Not for the faint of heart. Equally important to note- We stumbled upon a local market/Pizza palce on the mountain that delivers. They have really good pizza and stock about anything you could need - we were very thankful we found it when we didn't want to deal with the crowds of people in Gatlinburg or the 43 minute drive to Pigeon Forge to the nearest grocery store. :o (traffic was pretty crazy) The house has the essentials and many fun extras. It could use a few updates, but was comfortable and clean, which we were very thankful for. We enjoyed our stay.

Good location, nice kitchen!
Overall, the property was a good value for the price. The location was nice, check in was easy, the kitchen was clean and well equipped, and having a hot tub, pool table, and games were nice for our family. Having the Christmas tree already up and decorated was a special touch! The only issues we had were that the hot tub never got really hot, the chemical smell in the house was overwhelming (but once we took the three plug-ins out it really helped a lot), the person we were told to contact with any questions never answered my text, and we were quite disappointed that we never saw a bear since that was mentioned in many of the reviews (although I realize that is just luck of the draw, so I'm not holding that against anybody)! I just wanted to mention that you may not see a bear if that's one of your goals. Overall, I would recommend the chalet to others! chalet c to others! ttreviews!.

Cozy and peaceful home with a beautiful view
The home is very cozy and has all the amenities. The back deck is the place to hang out and enjoy the scenery; perfect for morning coffee and a good book. The home is close to many attractions. The drive up the mountain could be a little difficult if not prepared. Gwen was amazing and responded quickly with any concerns. We enjoyed our stay and would book again!

One of the best stays ever
Me and my husband traveled with our kids and the two grandkids to come to the Rod Run. If I could give the host more than I five star I would. She personally called me and let me know everything we needed to know about the rental. We ever talked after check- out. The house was in good condition and very clean. One of the only things I could complain about is in two of the bedrooms the bed was a little hard for what we are use to, but that is really not a complaint it is more of a personal preference. The views in this go-use is amazing. You could sit out in the hot tub and see the beautiful lights of Gatlinburg. I really loved that the hot tub was inside

Great Cabin
Very spacious cabin with all the amenities ready for the stay. The game room was awesome and so nice for entire family....kids really loved the PacMan game machine! When advised to be alert for the bears they were not joking! Was a bit nervous to grill outside as we saw a few bears in yard daily.Also, driving up the mountain roads could be a little "scary" but I didn't do my research to see exactly where this cabin was. A great outdoor experience in the mountains for all of us.
