50th Anniversary
Spoiled my folks for their 50th anniversary. Brought the family and didn’t let them spend a dime! The cabin was beautiful and perfect.

BEAR is the word
Very nice, driveway was a challenge for 5 cars. Lots of cabinet space in the kitchen but no room for food unless you rearrange things. The last night there the shower on the main floor would not shut off and nobody to get ahold of, so the water ran most of the night. We finally got it off.

Cabin is very nice and easy to find.
The Cabin is beautiful but the driveway is a little steep. There were a few things in the cabin that needed some maintenance but overall we were well pleased. We love our family time in the mountains.

Don't rent this cabin.
Our family was disappointed. No response from numerous emails. Dust everywhere, dirty floors, carpet in kitchen was a joke, it states fullystock kitchen that's not true. Driveway is ridiculous, extremely steep, van lost traction every time leaving. No view at all as stated. Hot tub had only 5 working jets, mold on shower heads, the shower on the top floor leaks in to the 2nd floor bathroom, dishwasher is trash, dirt and food on plates, cups and glasses in the cabinets. we called they said they had done a temporary fix on shower on top floor before and it must be going bad. We asked them to come fix it or do another temp. fix on it and she said her husband has covid and they couldn't do anything. I asked if someone else could be sent and she said no. Also she informed us that the owners would be coming up this week after we left. I hope they invest in this place and fix things properly. But looking at the reviews this crap has been going on for a while. Don't waste your money. These people don't care about this cabin and it shows. No supplies or broom or mop so I couldn't even clean myself. Not enough seating in living room to accommodate our 9 person family and it states it is for up to 15 people. Only 6 people could sit in living room at a time. 1 oven mit and 2 pot holder that was so old my daughter git burnt through the pot holder. We will never use Hemlock Hills Resort Rentals EVER AGAIN. We recommend you Don't either. Lady on the phone very rude and no help. It also states that if you need anything to call or email Shirley, Brady, Cody, and Jennifer don't bother they still have not answered our emails. So I wonder why one of these 4 couldn't come fix the shower. We thought yes they have some bad reviews but we thought maybe that they had fixed the issues or that maybe people just didn't write good reviews because they had a good time and didn't think about it. Well don't be fooled. Like us. JUST DON'T!

We loved everything about this place except for the cleanliness. There were dishes that had food on them in the cabinet, it looked like the basic dusting was done, but inches thick of dust throughout the cabin. When we washed off the dining room table it looked as though the paint was coming with it. Might need to coat it. Master upstairs shower needs to be updated felt like it could break anytime you moved your feet. There was still trash with food outside the cabin when we arrived in the bins. We were visited by two different black bears-this was not necessarily bad as we did enjoy seeing them up close-and nothing you can do about it as they are part of nature, but the bin holding old food trash didn’t help our situation. There were no extra trash bags either. This sounds like a terrible review, but if the cleaners did their part, this trip would’ve been perfect. We would rent this cabin again!! Great memories were made

Nice3 Cabin
The cabin was amazing. I even saw a bear one night below the balcony. The problem was the drive way. I had four wheel drive so I was fine but my friends did not. This created a bummer driving and pushing the car up the drive.

Nice place to hangout
The cabin was nice, it had plenty of room for 7 of us to be together and yet apart when needing space. The bear theme was nice and felt homey. Had questions a month early and got no response from owners. Had to make more than 5 attempts before received reply. When we arrived, the cabin was still dirty and the code to enter was wrong. Made a call to the maintenance number and they gave us the right code, and sent a crew that cleaned the cabin for two hours. The driveway is very steep and should have 4 wheel drive to get up and down. The neighbors had cars on both sides of the street with barely enough room to drive through which was worse at night with no lights. Low water pressure but enough to shower and bathe. It is a nice place to spend a number of days hanging out with your friends and family.

Good Space but Needs Help
The cabin has a good amount of room but was not clean. There were cob webs and dust on the walls. We took a broom and spent about 1 1/2 hours cleaning. Carpets were stained in rooms which we assume is from past pets. The air filter was completely layered with a thick layer of dust but the manager came and put in a new one. Cooking pans were nasty and we did our best to clean them. The place could also use a new set of cooking utensils. Several things were broke including kitchen sink knob, dish washer rack, and upstairs fan switch. Overall, price wasn’t bad. However, you get what you pay for, as the old saying goes.

Spring Break Getaway
Overall the cabin was absolutely beautiful. However, the cleanliness was severely lacking. The sheets were not clean, as there were stains, hair and debri in the beds. There was paper straw wrapping, price tags, receipts on the floor in several rooms. The coffee maker had coffee still in it as well as the filter. Rugs and carpet were filthy and there was dust and cobwebs in several locations that were extremely visible. There were a few pillows with blood on them as well. As I said the cabin itself was beautiful, however I would follow up on who is cleaning the cabin as they are not doing their job. We spent our first night cleaning and washing bedding which was not our responsibility.

Overall nice size cabin for our group of 14. Cleanliness was sub par as cob webs in corners and carpet very stained. Kitchen faucet worked but barely. Dishwasher racks broken. Location convenient to town but multiple close neighbors and no view. Driveway very steep and narrow.

House needs many minor repairs
Was a great house but a lot of things broken. (1) dishwasher was broken so had to hand wash dishes all week for the 10 people staying there (2) ceiling fan in upstairs bedroom doesn’t work (3) recliner broken in family room (4) no remote for tv in game room (5) electric hand mixer was broken (6) missing bulbs in outside floodlights (7) coffee pot was broken and asked three times before getting a replacement two days into trip (8) downstairs was extremely cold and finally got some portable heaters 3 days into trip (9) no hot mats in kitchen first couple days of trip

The cabin was spacey, and nice.
The driveway is STEEP, and my recommendation is to stay at the top and walk down. If you can. Reversing up that is scary. The rooms were nice and spacey. The upstairs room was great. The tv was a little wonky. But my fiancé got it to work. The ceiling fan did not tho. The WiFi password was wrong but it’s correct on the box located by the fire place. Kinda dusty in a few spots, but all 12 of us had a good time. And enough space for us all! Nice quick stay, and affordable. We would come here again.

A great vacation!
Overall experience was great! The cabin had plenty of room for the family and extended family. Rooms were nice and spacious. Great views of the mountains. Make sure that if you go during the winter months, you have 4WD or RWD. The driveway is a little tough getting out of due to the pitch. But overall experience was fantastic!

Location was great! Not far at all from Gatlinburg and Dollywood. Place was very spacious!
Dishwasher was not working and we had to call for hot tub to be cleaned. Called maintenance regarding the TV and Wi-Fi twice when we arrived and she was very helpful but no one came out. Called again the next morning to report the hot tub needed to be cleaned and she asked did no one come out to property and I explained to her we have heard nothing. Communication and response time was very good because she had someone out there shortly after my call. I guess maybe before quest check in maybe check and make sure everything is working and ready to go. Overall I would stay again because we really like the location and the area just a few things needed attention.
