Cozy Cabin near Ober Skiing, w/ Mountain views, Hot Tub, Arcades & Pool Table!

Nestled in the Smoky Mountains, Golden Bear Lodge is a cozy 3 bedroom/ 3 bath cabin located just a short drive to downtown Gatlinburg, Ober Mountain and the Smoky Mountain National Park. Perfect getaway for families!

Enjoy your morning coffee on the deck surrounded by tree tops and a beautiful view into Gatlinburg. Watch the Aerial tram go by and at night see all the twinkling city lights, including the skybridge when it is lit up! Unwind by taking a dip in our private hot tub or enjoy a game of pool in the game room.

PLEASE MESSAGE US before booking more than 6 adults!! We want to make sure our house will work for you and everyone will be comfortable!

We do not offer refunds for last minute cancellations! We highly recommend you purchase trip insurance.

We provide a small “starter pack” of toiletries and paper products.

Our cabin is located in a well established development with paved roads. We have had no problem getting up to our cabin without 4 wheel drive, even in the winter with the occasional snow. However, these are mountain roads and they are narrow, winding and steep in places, so plan accordingly for your comfort level!

This cabin is in the woods, expect to see and hear critters! We do have regular pest control, but they can still sometimes get into the cabin. If you are lucky you may see bear families that often walk up our road!

Sorry, unfortunately NO PETS. If you bring in a pet of any kind you will be charged an additional fee and asked to leave!

NO PARTIES - This is a quiet family rental area. No guests except those on the reservation and no more than the max guests allowed.

Unfortunately we can rarely offer early check-in or late check-out! We have to respect our cleaners who work hard, are on a tight schedule and need time to clean our whole cabin!

Located in beautiful Chalet Village, guests have seasonal access to 3 outdoor pools and club houses (Pools are open from Memorial weekend to Labor Day Weekend).

The property was secluded at the end of the road and cozy. Plenty of activities such as pool,darts, foosball,hot-tub, and plenty of tvs. Its perfect for a mountain get away!

Perfect Family Getaway
We stayed for a long weekend and it was perfect. The hosts were very clear on directions on how to get there and how to get into the property. It was clean and well stocked with the essentials we would need and with directions of where to get additional supplies for the trip. Beautiful location!

Close enough to Gatlinburg’s main strip but tucked away up on the mountainside for privacy with a view. While we had no issues, the property owners were very communicative to ensure a positive experience! Highly recommend.

Nice cabin! Cant beat the mountain view! Clean rooms. Pool table n hot tub were fun. The drive up the mountain is scary but once used to it, its drivable. Loved it!!

Best of Both Worlds
Beautiful, quiet location for a wind down after busy days in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge with our family. The view at the end of the porch at sunrise is amazing! We had everything we needed and some extras provided for a comfortable 4 night stay. Gracious hosts!

Anniversary getaway
We needed a place to go that wasn’t too far to drive because we only had a couple of days. We live the secludedness that the cabin had to offer. It rained and was foggy the entire time we were there but that didn’t matter. We never left the cabin once we arrived. Will definitely stay there again!

Ok but could be much cleaner.
Coffee bar and beds were nice. Lots of cigarette butts and leaves at entryway. Hot tub was not cleaned before our visit. Leaves and debris in it everywhere and brown water. Property details said it would be emptied and refilled after each use. There is a rodent in the wall downstairs that disturbed our kids’ sleep and scared them in the early morning hours. They no longer slept downstairs the rest of our stay. We enjoyed foosball table and games. Lots of extra pillows and towels. There were dishwasher packs and detergent pods left for our use. Thank you!
