As a property owner and Registered Nurse, a clean, disinfected and sanitized cabin has always been a priority for us. We have adopted and implemented a strict anti-microbial (virus, bacteria, fungal) sanitization protocol before and after each guest, offering a "contactless" check-in process using a Wi-Fi programmable smart lock. Feel free to message us with any specific questions about our cleaning program.

Please review the CFAR (Cancel For Any Reason Travel Insurance) offered during the booking process. We highly recommend purchasing trip insurance for your stay.

Newly built in 2018, this chalet style 1200 sq ft luxury Gatlinburg cabin provides a "first floor" king suite with handmade sassafras furniture, flat screen "smart" HDTV and ROKU , spacious en-suite master bath and a private walk out to the covered deck and hot tub. Solid hickory flooring throughout cabin, custom log furniture, cathedral ceilings and large picture windows create an Adirondack theme throughout the cabin. The second floor offers a media room with flat screen "smart" HDTV and ROKU, double couple's recliner and large full bath. Kitchen amenities include a fully stocked custom kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite counter top, cookware, bake ware, dish sets, and a new Keurig along with a new Mr Coffee maker. Enjoy magnificent mountain & ridge views from the privacy of the covered deck which includes a new custom spa with LED lights and a waterfall, a double glider rocker and a picnic table!

Location/Access -
The Sweet Escape is a 10 minute drive to downtown Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge! Tucked away at the end of a cul-de-sac, this brand new cabin provides privacy, quick access to the main road, Parkway, which is a short 5 minute drive from the cabin.

We are not able to accommodate motorcycles or trailers

Great cabin
We had a wonderful time relaxing and seeing the fall leaves. The cabin was perfect. The location was close to all attractions. It was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub after hiking a few trails. Well stocked except could have provided a few extra towels, but we had everything we needed. It wasn’t a problem since we had the washer and dryer and washed them. The view was beautiful.

The Perfect Vacation in The Sweet Escape!
We stayed in The Sweet Escape for 4 nights and had a wonderful time exploring the area, hiking the national park, and spending down time is this absolutely gorgeous cabin. The beautiful wood interior, furnishings, and décor provided the perfect ambience for a vacation in the Smoky Mountains. We felt like we were staying in a five-star property with a prime view of Mount Le Conte (one of the highest peaks in the park). The cabin feels like it is remote, but it is strategically located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, with quick and easy access to Highway 321 and the Gatlinburg Bypass if you are going into the park. The owners, Mike and Angela, are attentive and provided great communication before, during, and after our stay. One of the best vacations ever! Thank you, Mike and Angela! We will be back!

The property is Amazing!!! Beautiful decor, very cozy, comfortable atmosphere, immaculately clean. great amenities. I loved the spotless hot tub. We had such a relaxing weekend until a bear came to see us upon our departure. He attempted to get in my car and ripped our back seat while taking my husband’s shoulder bag which, by the way, had his wallet in it. We started banging things. Luckily he dropped it and walked away. 😋 We had quite the adventure!!

The cabin was just perfect, in fact so much as we chose to have the view from the deck as the backdrop for our intimate wedding. My wife and I exchanged vows with our officiant to the sounds of the Pigeon Forge river and the sun low in the sky. I cannot say how much we enjoy our elopement/getaway in this place. Thank you Angela and Mike for being gracious hosts. The cabin is at a dead end and somewhat secluded. The drive up the mountain was not bad at all. Everything you can want or need is right there. We took advantage of the rear deck to lounge and relax. We have been coming to the area for 7 years and this place is top shelf.

We loved this cabin. It was stocked well with kitchen ware, detergents and paper. I really enjoyed sitting in the picnic area outside in the sun and birdwatching. The bed was comfortable. I liked that it was so private that we did not have to pull curtains ever, but were able to enjoy the views both day and night and in any room. Our only disappointment was that although listed as an amenity the fireplace was not allowed to be used while we were there. A sign read,” restricted to use in winter only”. We had some cold evenings and would have enjoyed a fire. The host was very kind. We would come back again.

My husband and I come to Gatlinburg for our anniversary every December. We have booked a different cabin, every year. The sweet escape is the only cabin we would revisit. The owners of this property/cabin truly go out of their way to make your stay a clean, fun, and memorable one. Not only is the cabin well kept and updated, it is absolutely clean!! The location is just minutes from all of the attractions, dining etc. The cabin is very easy to find, very private but still has other cabins around us. Owners called to make sure we were comfortable and gave us ideas on local restaurants and attractions that we might want to consider during our stay. Looking forward to next year at the Sweet Escape. Great experience!!!
