"We booked our room for the huge balcony. It turned out to be huge but was covered in snow and ice. That was disappointing. Electrics in the building were also poor, you had to choose the plugs you wanted to use. The building itself is all it promises and makes your stay interesting and that was why we tried it. Still balcony especially was disappointing. This may seemmlike a bargain but I am not 100% sure on that. The building is exceptional, there us no denying that."

"This is a very nice hotel with lots of charm and character. We enjoyed the large room and great staff. We had half board included. The dinners were great, but the breakfast was dissapointing. Same limited items daily. The rooms are dated, but comfortable. Our shower however was very small. But that didn't bother us at all. The hotel pool and spa are nice, and the location to walk to shops and restaurants is convenient. For skiers, the ski bus stops very close to the hotel."

"Dette er et fint spahotell med kort vei til sentrum i Bad Hofgastein og til turstier i nærliggende åser og fjell. Hotellet har et lite basseng, boblebad, sauna, dampbad mm. Vi var der i fire netter, og hadde bassenget nesten for oss selv hele tiden. Meget stille og rolig sted, god service og deilige drinker i baren. "Brilliant in all aspects. Lovely staff and fantastic service and awesome food. Spa is amazing and the outdoors therme pool is wonderful and warm. Highly recommend this awesome hotel and its amazing staff and spa. The only tiny tiny tiny two things are that afternoon tea finished at 430 pm so we missed it every day as many skiers would. Secondly you get an allocated table for each meal for each day. It never changes which can become stale. However the staff were amazing and let us shift around...

"The main hotel pool area and the waterfall view are the best part. Stayii g in the residents part af the hotel is awful. The walk to the main hotel is steep and a couple of blocks. Housekeeping didn't make the beds and didn't even bothered to show up the next day. Carpeting was dirty and stained. Floors could have been cleaned. I would stay someplace else."
