Charming riverside retreat

Historic cabin built in the 1920's. Dr. Fine, the county's only doctor, used the cabin as his fishing getaway. The fishing hole is located at the big bend, just below the fork of the North and Middle Forks of the Smith River.

Nestled among the old growth Douglas Firs, and a quiet beach with private access, this cozy cabin has it all!

In all directions, are views of the pristine Smith River and National Forest. Birds are abundant! We are visited by Osprey, Kingfishers and a resident Bald Eagle. The yard brings songbirds and various bird species that provide hours of fun for birders.

Cozy Cabin in the woods
We absolutely loved this darling little cabin in the woods. It was so cozy and in a wonderful, peaceful location. Close to Jedidiah Smith Redwoods and Crescent city. Not too far from Prairie Creek Redwoods either, if you like exploring the coast and various trails. We can’t wait to come back to visit.

What a great little cabin right on the smith river. Cozy and comfortable. Close to the redwoods and coast. A great place for an weekend away. Definitely would return.

Amazing Cabin in Nature
This is the nicest place that my husband and I have stayed (and we have stayed in many placed.) This place is truly a gem. I would give it a 10 +++. We will definitely be returning next year.

Beautiful outdoor space
Cute little cabin, but perfect for our family of 3. What was really amazing was the outdoor space, right on the river, plenty of seating including a hammock. We really enjoyed it. The owners were lovely as well.

Absolutely peaceful (and beautiful). Cabin had great furnishings and every amentity that we needed! The sound of the river was very relaxing. Eating on the patio was great. Drive to and from the Redwoods was short and beautiful. Exceeded our expectations. Would definitely stay here again if we are in the area!
