We booked last minute for a family trip. Location was good in proximity to the beach. The kids liked the hot tub a lot. The neighborhood was super quiet with mainly mid century modern homes on the street. House was great for our family. Thank you.
We really enjoyed our stay at Miller Beach. The house was nice and clean. We did not use the hot tub but it appeared to be taken care of. The host was prompt to respond to any questions and even suggested a local pizza place Flamingo Pizza. We had carryout and it was fantastic. We would stay here again.
This is our second time renting from this owner and she’s always such a kind and accommodating host. Her houses have plenty of space, especially when you consider the finished basements and she’s communicative whenever there is something that needs to be fixed. It’s simple and easy being her guest. Would definitely recommend.
Omg where do I start… The host was EVERYTHING & more…. Great communication, friendly, kind, understanding, I could go on & on… Whenever I want to do a small lil get away again, I’ll be booking with her… Thanks again Naomi for everything
We booked without any issues, but was surprised 100% was due at booking nearly a year in advance. Loved the location/quiet neighborhood, the beds/bedding and hot hub hangout area.
Kitchen sink needed some repairs along with the steps from hot tub to back yard. Upon arrival there was only a roll & half of toilet paper for 6 people for 3 nights😞 I also text the day of our arrival to ask if the golf cart was still available to rent & didn’t get a response. We would still stay again because we loved the home & location.
The place was great! Just what we needed. We did notice some cleanliness things, like we moved the couch for something and there was quite a bit of stuff under it. We also saw a chick fil a cup that wasn't ours in the house. However, we had a great time!!
I think you are aware, but there it a leak under the sink, it looks like the pipe is leaking. It started spilling out from underneath the sink and it was a little wet under there.
Thank you for letting us stay there!
Great location if wanting to go to Indiana Dunes National Park or the beach. Naomi was easy to communicate with and check in was easy. The hot tub wasn’t working during our stay and Naomi tried to help with that problem but it was unable to be rectified during our stay to take advantage of it, but is giving us 2 free nights to make up for it. Our adult children did complain of hairs in and on the beds downstairs, so cleaning crew could do better. Otherwise, cleanliness was good. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was furnished fairly well but could benefit from increased glassware and coffee cups for large groups.

Cute Neighborhood...
Overall, we enjoyed our stay as a family in this home. The neighborhood is super cute and quiet and very close to the beach. However, there are a few things that need to change at the price point of this property.1.The house was not clean when we arrived. We had to wash the sheets on our bed (including the comforters) because they were dirty with hair on them). This was time consuming and NO ONE wants to do laundry when they are on vacation.2.There needs to be extra sheets and comforters in the home (CLEAN ONES) that is something almost every home I’ve stayed in has had. There were no extra sheets or comforters in this home.3.Add TVs in every room. This is just a part of the vacation feel! There isn’t even a TV in the living room.4. Directions need to be included on how to enter the home since the lock on the door is unconventional and there may be some people who don’t know you have to actually turn the deadbolt and not the door knob. We didn’t realize this and were waiting to get in after a long drive!5.Add in some more grill tools for the grill use (these can be purchased at the dollar store). 6.The water pressure at the kitchen sink needs to be addressed immediately. It runs from the faucet at a snail's pace and can be extremely frustrating for any family. The things I added here can make the stay that much more comfortable and make people feel like they are getting their money’s worth and that the host actually cares about their guests comfort and enjoyment. TY.
Adorable little house but was not clean at all. We

Did not meet expectations
The property was cute and does look like what is pictured what in the photographs online. However, for any who struggle with allergies or strong smells, this property is not for you. This has been a pet friendly house with lingering smells of cat urine in the upstairs bedroom and dogs downstairs. Smokers have resided at one point in house with the unmistakable that even new paint can’t even mask—a warning about his would have been helpful especially since it’s so prominent.
Also, common household supplies were not well stocked or were out all together (toilet paper, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent) and we had to make a request for the the first and buy the rest. Our entire group struggled justifying the cost of this stay for what we got.
Stayed in Naomi’s home for a weekend with some friends visiting from out of town! We had a great time and was pleased with the home + it was very comfortable and easy to drive to the beach. The paddleboards and beach chairs that came included for our use were awesome!
There were some small issues - one of the bedrooms had a duvet that unfortunately smelled and we had to remove it, and while we were staying we experienced issues with the hot tub that were not resolved by the time our stay ended, which was a little disappointing.
Overall, would still recommend this to folks looking for a home near the Dunes that can accomodate a large group! Thank you Naomi!
Great house near the beach (host will give you ideas on how to park closer) perfect for hosting a group of friends or family! Host was also super responsive and helpful in accommodating us all for a wonderful birthday weekend!
It was over all a great stay very big definitely a lot of people can stay here but there was a drawing of a pe×!s on the window and there were mold in a box full of used quetips and floss but other than that we all loved it
This property met most of our needs. We had a lot of fun driving around in the golf cart. The property is close to beaches, but far enough away that we chose to drive (handicap individuals in our group). Hot tub was nice and beds were comfortable. Recommendations for improvement would be a better stocked kitchen. I recommend adding trash bags, foil, casserole/serving dishes, a pitcher, left over containers and snack bowls to your kitchen. Also, it did not bother us at all, but for those traveling with little kids, there is a large dog in the adjacent yard. There is only a chain link fence between the properties. We also enjoyed the firepit. We were able to find wood nearby. Overall we had a great trip. All of the locals were nice and welcoming.
Using GPS the location was that much easier to find. Property was very clean, rooms are spacious and comfortable.
The only thing I would add is curtains/ blinds for the front window for added privacy.
Outside of that I give 99. 9% approval the .1% is because of the rainy weather that showed up. 😊
