"Arrived at thevagreed time to find the doors locked. Tried to ring but nobody picked up. Eventually someone heard me knocking and opened the door. Check in was straightforward after that. Room was small but had all you needed. Wifi was good. Desk space was small but ok. Dinner was good. Had a good nights sleep. Breakfast included and looking at the cooked option it looked very nice. Sadly i just had some cereal and juice (my choice). Paid on check out. Parking was free. Overall nice place...

"The Knighton Hotel is quiet and well-located. Unfortunately, they don't do meals, although they do have a coffee shop, which I didn’t try as I was out allday walking. The evening I arrived there was a leak through the inspection hatch in the ceiling of my room. When I reported it I was instantly moved to another and larger room (turned out the leak was coming from the shower in the room above). Good service there. "Our visit to Mellington Hall Country House Hotel was fantastic. The property is amazing, the staff were really attentive and amazing also. The food was superb and the service throughout was exceptional. After the meal we sat in the lovely building which has quiet rooms or an open fire. We went just before Christmas and so the property was probably quieter than during the summer months, but we definitely would return to enjoy walking in the surrounding countryside.
