"This property was much bigger than I expected. It was basically an apartment in a building instead of just a hotel room. It had its own kitchen in a separate room, as well as a bathroom completely separate from the bedroom. All 3 locations had doors to close off from the other areas. The only negative about the property was that although it advertises being soundproof, it is very much not. The building is right on a main road with a train that would pass by about every 5 minutes. "This is a simple pension with a very good restaurant. Breakfasts were quite good but simple. The rooms are bare bones, but if you only need to sleep and shower, it is fine. We visited in August 2022 when the weather was warm (20C), but we do not know how well the room is heated for the winter. "

"Fabulous hotel! Across the street from probably the most interesting site in town (Dresden Zwinger, looks like an old palace, with museums), and about 2 blocks walk to the town's centra; square where they hold oldest Christmas market in Europe. Restaurants all around. The hotel has a rooftop bar with a fantastic view of the Zwinger. We had the XXL suite, and our kids loved the bunk beds while the adults enjoyed the other comfortable beds. All very clean, nice kitchen and bathroom, great value....
