"The friendliness of the staff is so and so. We have a wonderful experience with the breakfast service and a mediocre with the evening service. The hotel is located in a very nice area. "Our room was very clean and remodeled well. We were only staying one night so we booked the cheapest king bed room. This room #24 was an attic room which had no windows except for two skylight window on the ceiling. Didn’t have screens and it rained that evening, so we closed them. "Great stay st Bachmair Weissach. The hotel is beautiful. Particularly the stream that runs through it and the spa. Rooms are spacious, clean and quite nice. But there’s no a/c. It can get quite hot during the day. Staff was nice and attentive. Although service was a bit slow at times. Nothing too bad to detract from a wonderful experience"

"Easy to find, in a quiet location right by the lake. Easy access to swimming either right on the shore, or by a row boat to a lovely beach in just ten minutes. The guesthouse is very cute, and the breakfast very filling. Not much English spoken but everything is pretty self-explanatory. Restaurants/shops in the area close quite early, and on Sunday don’t open until quite late in the morning, but it’s a great place to relax and enjoy the view. "

"This hotel was in a great location. Close to the lake and boat service. Also within walking distance to a grocery store. The food (dinner) was AMAZING. Highly recommend making dinner reservations there. Breakfast was a typical german breakfast which also was good. The staff was nice and the hotel was well run. We will stay here again next time we come. "

"This is a really very nice hotel with absolutely superb staff and a wonderful spa. Breakfast is excellent and the view from lake-facing rooms amazing. Why four, rather than five stars? First there is no room service. The reason given for this is that the hotel is spread over a large area and the hotel does not want to deliver sub-standard food. "There is much to recommend this hotel. The common areas are lovely; the location beautiful; and the spa very relaxing (though nude, despite being co-ed). The concierge was attentive and helpful. We borrowed e-bikes and enjoyed exploring the surrounding Tegernsee lake area (though they had no helmets - we had to rent these nearby). "This is a well run apartment hotel away from the hustle and bustle of the main street but close enough to walk to. Breakfast was particularly good and the service was very attentive. The room was cleaned every day by a delightful lady who together with the owners was very welcoming. We were given recommendations for good restaurants in the area and overall our stay was an enjoyable experience. The Tegernsee is beautiful and is highly recommended as a tourist destination."

Large vacation apartment with sauna, terrace, garden and open fireplace

Great Family get-away

"Large group of family (9 adults) stayed for a few days. It was very clean and several people took advantage of the sauna. Lenggries was very nice, we spent one day on the mountain, which is very convenient to the house. Walking distance to the train station so we didn't need to rent a car."
