It is just off the N1, and hence convenient for a mostly-N-road trip home (R roads can have terrible potholes). "We arrived in a heatwave and were very happy to find an air conditioner in the main bedroom but the second room had only a ceiling fan. The rooms were clean and well furnished with a fridge, kettle, makings of coffee. Plenty of water and ample hot water for the three of us. In future, I would choose to eat in Colesberg, about 5 Kilometers away. Safe parking was provided and our bicycle stayed on the car."

There were no amenities in our room when we arrived, not even toilet paper but this was quickly sorted out by staff once we notified them. Wi fi didn’t work throughout the stay. The bathroom is small with a shower only but adequate for an overnight stay. The pool was lovely and clean and the garden well kept. All in all a good option for a quick stay on the Jhb to Cape journey"

"The checking in was good, the accommodation was clean. The off street parking was a problem but a phone call to the owners sorted that out. As per the owner's description - the accommodation is prefab units and named cottages. That being said it was comfortable and clean. We had a portable aircon and it made the room nice and cool. "
