This newly renovated home is just steps from a magnificent 180 degree view of the lake. Spend a lazy day with family and friends on either of 2 decks gazing at the natural beauty of the lake crowned with scenic hills in the distance and unspoiled views of the shoreline. Or, have an active day in the water just steps from the house. Launch your watercraft from Southpark, just a 5 minute drive away and directly across from the house. A short boat ride (a few minutes) across the cove, anchor directly behind the house and play in the lake all day. It is a great home base for exploring this uncrowded, pristine part of Beaver Lake with its stunning limestone bluffs. There is so much beauty in this part of the Ozarks with over 28,000 acres of lake to boat, fish, ski, kayak or find an interesting spot to dock and explore the 500 feet of shoreline with numerous caves. When you tire, boat back to the cove and anchor for easy access to the house, you can break whenever you like... go in for a nap, another drink, watch TV or grab a bite.
Upstairs is the master bedroom and completely renovated bath with walk in shower. The master bedroom, newly renovated kitchen, dining and modern living space with fireplace all overlook a sweeping view of the lake.
Enter the upper deck from either master bedroom or the living area. It contains barbecue pit, dining table and couch with firepit. Enjoy dinner and your favorite libation while marveling at the night sky. You''ll be amazed at the view of the stars as light pollution is at a minimum. In need of some romance? A bottle of wine, the reflection of the moon on the water below, a warm fire dancing in the night air and cuddling under a blanket is the perfect date night.
Downstairs is a bedroom with queen bed and updated full bathroom. There is 2nd bedroom with queen bed and a 3rd bedroom with queen bed and pull out sofa. This room is the kids hang out that contains 65" TV, gaming equipment, board games and cards. The 2nd & 3rd bedrooms share another updated full bath.
From the hall downstairs or the playroom sliding glass doors, enter the lower deck. The lower deck includes plenty of seating and another firepit as well as a 4 step staircase to the beachy area at the water's edge. There is an outdoor bar area with TV so you can enjoy the beauty of the lake without missing a moment of your favorite show or sporting event. Plenty of room to spread out, have fun together or break away to a more private space on the deck. Enjoy the back porch, read a book, take a nap or catch up with friends. Or play "bing bong", our family's much faster version of ping pong on a smaller table. When ready for another adventure, climb aboard one of two kayaks and explore the cove. You can even fish from the kayak if the mood strikes.
Ready to hit the road for more adventure? Garfield is surrounded by a variety of great parks for the nature enthusiast or head to one of many numerous communities with more culture, shopping, dining and nightlife options. You can find more hiking, biking, fishing or horseback riding at either Dogwood Canyon Nature Park (49 miles) or Hobbs State Park (35 miles) both about an hour away. Looking for a little less nature and more culture or nightlife? Top spots to play include Eureka Springs (29 miles), Bentonville (25 miles) or Branson(77 miles). Soak up the quirky spirit of Eureka where art and natural beauty abound (Thorncrown Chapel is a must!), Bentonville with the amazing Crystal Bridges Museum (an architectural marvel) and the enthusiasm of a young, hip and growing community with new restuarants touting adventurous chefs and unique nightlife including the Momentary and the Amp (outdoor concert venue in nearby Rogers). Mountain biking? Well, heck yeah! NW Arkansas has been named the #3 Best Mountain Bike Destination in the USA 2022 by Jeff Barber 7/26/22 (www.singletracks.com/mtb trails). You can join the fun in Bentonville, AR. Need to scratch a shopping itch? There are plenty of unique treasures to be found in downtown Rogers or downtown Bentonville, or head to the Pinnacle Mall in Rogers for more traditional wares.
Traveling with a younger crowd? A day trip to Branson is worth your time. Head to Silver Dollar City, a fantastic amusement park (in our opinion it rivals other theme parks but at a more reasonable price). It boasts 4-5 toe curling roller coasters, a natural cave and as the theme park is set in the 1880s, there are many craftsmen and women creating tools, art and food the old fashioned way. Fun to watch! Branson is also home to White Water, an outdoor water park that is worth your time. Finally, tour the strip and catch a show if you desire or head to the outlet mall. There is plenty to do!
