"Legacy lakeside resort was fantastic! There's trails to walk, kayaks, paddle boards, paddle boats, nice beach, clean, very comfy beds, quiet and relaxing. There's also a cool game room, grills, fish cleaning station. We will definitely be coming back! It's our new favorite place to go! Staff were very helpful and kind too!! "

"It's kind of the classic/quintessential "Minnesota Cabin By The Lake." Close enough to town that all of the amenities are within a 10ish minute drive, but tucked into the side of the lake to make it feel secluded. The place is small, it was just the 2 of us and we felt it would have been tight with any more people. It was clean and well provisioned."

"We loved so many aspects of this cabin. The many gathering spaces made it enjoyable for our family. Large refrigerator and lots of cookware/dishes. The mattress in our bed was a little uncomfortable, plus the cushions in the screened porch were flat. Otherwise, a great place to stay! "

"This was the BEST cabin for our fall getaway! It was cozy, private, and quiet. The view of the lake from inside the cabin and from the backyard is spectacular. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies, making cooking meals together a breeze. Our dog loved the yard and surrounding woods. The house was very clean and the host was responsive. We had a wonderful time and would love to stay again! "

"We are 2 couples who came up for Oktoberfest. This is our 2nd time staying here. It's a great cabin. Great location. Clean, comfortable, and has all the amenities you need. I would highly recommend staying here! Bethany is a great host to work with!"

"Two besties met halfway for a girls weekend. Close to Alexandria and all it has to offer. The Boathouse was perfect for the two of us. We enjoyed an evening on the deck with the beautiful fall colors on the lake. Host was available by phone and let me know that by a phone call before I checked in. Everything was easy and I would not hesitate to book again. In fact my friend even said we need to do this again. "
