"We all enjoyed our stay for our Dad's 70th Birthday. The pool was used constantly! The house was very clean, well equipped and beds comfortable. The grounds and surrounding areas to the property are beautiful. Alan, the host was good at communicating and replied very quickly to any queries I had. My only gripe, which didn't detract from the stay at all, would be plastic cups for the pool area and maybe some pictures and ornaments throughout the house to make it feel more homely. Thank you...

"Wow, wow, wow!!! The property was exactly as described in the listing. Spectacular outdoor space that was perfect for enjoying drinks or meals on the patio looking at the amazong view. Easy walking distance to great stores and restaraunts in town. A short walk to one of the best golf courses in Scotland !! "

"This was a fantastic stay. Shepherds Hut was beautifully decorated and so clean. Doug and Ann were so good at communicating and checking everything was ok. It really is a fantastic place to stay and would thoroughly recommend for a few nights stay away in peace or with family. Facilities are very good. I will definately be back to stay again . "

"We had an amazing sunny week in Gardenstown. Sunnyside House has a fabulous view over the village and out to sea. The sunsets are stunning! The house itself is clean, well decorated and and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The locals I met on my daily morning stroll around the village and along the beach were lovely and friendly. We loved Portsoy and Cullen and had some lovely beach and cliff top walks."

"Traditional cottage that has been renovated to a high standard. Everything you need, has been provided. Great extras included - such as logs for the fire and nice toiletries. A lovely welcome gift also, including one for the dog! Alan, the owner, met us on arrival and could not have been nicer. "Very comfortable stay in this cosy cottage .A lot of thought has gone into all the details & furnishings and we all had a lovely stay. A lot of "extras " supplied which we have not had in other holiday properties Village was very quiet but we Knew that beforehand and that added to the "charm" Just enjoyed watching the Surfers ,the waves,and walking on the beach"

"An excellent glamping site with a chilled atmosphere and lovely landscape. We stayed in the Wheelhouse which is perfect for 2. It was rustic with nice basic facilities. The wee on site shop had ample supplies (bring cash for it). The area was lovely to walk around and we enjoyed the fishing hut community hub. We enjoyed our stay and loved the quirky site. Would definitely come back. "

"A perfect, peaceful stay in a magical wee cottage. Extremely well equipped and the wee extra special touches just made our stay even better. The location is perfect for exploring rural Aberdeenshire and the coast. Ally & Jason are warm and welcoming hosts and couldn't do enough for us.
