"Was an incredible stay. We were the only guests as it was the off season and we felt so looked after. There was a lovely man working the mornings (didn’t catch his name but he was absolutely beautiful) who did everything he could to make us feel welcomed and comfortable! Great location for daytrips along the coast, good amenities and amazing food! We’ll definitely be staying again"

"A friendly, welcoming lady greeted me on arrival and explained everything simply and professionally. The room was warm, comfortable and most adequate for one night at the hotel. Very comfy bed. The teas and coffees were well stocked with my favourite Clipper coffee - tremendous attention to detail, imo. The bar restaurant has an open fire which was continually stocked as it was snow and sleet outside. In the evening, the food, service, and value was nothing short of excellent. Breakfast was very good too. The lady who served me was helpful and polite. The decor isn't overly Scottish like a lot of Scottish hotels. Just enough tartan without feeling like your trapped inside a Bay City Rollers reunion concert. Clearly, a well established hotel which is worth the visit."

"My stay at the hotel as always was really good! Staff are really friendly and my room this time was great as I was on top floor so really quiet. Food is amazing!! £10.40 for a glass of wine is quite steep though. "

"What a very nice hotel. The decor in the public areas and in our room was great. Our bathroom was particularly well done and spotlessly clean. The staff struck the right balance between being friendly and being professional and all three of our evening meals were memorable. The chef deserves a special mention."
