Quiet and clean air
We had a wonderful time. The privacy was a nice change from living in the city. The house is full of beautiful soaps and delicious coffee and teas. The kids love the google mini!

Lovely house overlooking the harbour
We really enjoyed our stay here - so many fun activities for the kids to do, including board games, and a short drive to great lakes for families (Katherine and Ruby). The house was really clean and cosy, and the seats on the balcony were so comfy, with lovely views over the harbour below. Ileana was very responsive, with tips on what to do, and where to go and eat out in the area. We'd highly recommend this house, and hope we can return one day soon.

Peaceful sanctuary at Garden Bay!
We really enjoyed our experience staying at this lovely, bright, peaceful sanctuary in Garden Bay on the Sunshine Coast! The house is bright with lots of large windows and a beautiful deck facing the harbour which we spent alot of time on! The kitchen is very well equipped with high end appliances and everything we needed! The house is situated at Garden Bay which is a perfect home base to explore the beautiful Pender Harbour area. Each day we hiked, swam, kayaked or explored the area - several nice bakeries, coffee shops and restaurants in the surrounding area and access to wonderful hikes and lakes for swimming! The best part was the peace and quiet at this beautiful property - the hosts were wonderful and helpful and answered all of our questions in a timely manner! Thank you so much for a great vacation!

Garden Bay Gem
We loved our stay at Ileana and Murray's place. Their rental is beautiful, with aesthetically pleasing decor, thoughtful touches to each room, and a stunning view of the harbour. There was even a small artisan gift to welcome us when we arrived. Our group had a lovely time using the patio - enjoying our mornings together and viewing the sunset over the water in the evenings. The house was fully equip with appliances, books, games, and other necessities. The fire pit, the outside seating areas, and the little cottage house in the backyard were also lovely. The location is prime, being a 5 minute walk from Hotel Lake, and a short drive to many of the other lakes, harbours and attractions in the area. Ileana put together a guide for attractions in the area that was very helpful for our stay. The communication surrounding the stay was clear, concise and helpful. Also, a huge plus is that the home is pet friendly, as we needed to accommodate our dog. I highly recommend this home. It is a Sunshine Coast gem, and a truly restful space.

The place is beautiful. A nice view to the left of the property. You can see the ocean and lots of trees when sitting out on the upper patio. We really enjoyed sitting outside. You feel secluded, although there is other homes beside you. Very peaceful and relaxing. This place would be ideal for paddle boarding, kayaking or biking. One of the lakes is very close. I don’t believe there was a beach but we did see docks around the lake. We were so happy we could bring our dog. Katherine Lake does not allow dogs, however there is a nice beach at that lake. I would not recommend this location for anyone with mobility issues. The driveway is very steep, the path to the grassy areas is also steep. The home has three stories and has two staircases. The owners were fantastic. Every time I sent a message it was replied to quickly. I really felt welcome in this home. We would recommend this place to family and friends.
