"The drive out into the countryside is well worth the effort. We stayed in the two bedroom gite and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The gite is spacious and has a lovely gravel patio area in front with great views of the countryside. It was warm, so we were able to sit outside for meals, reading and watching nature and the occasional boat passing on the canal. "Easy to find, plenty of parking and in a quiet location. The building is shared between it's elderly residents and paying guests. Keys to the rooms were in named envelopes on the front desk. Spacious, clean room with balcony and well equipped kitchen area. "

"The owner was welcoming and friendly; the house worked because we were family but interconnecting bedrooms would make it a bit odd perhaps for larger groups. The outside space is good; the inside a bit split up - but the weather was good so this didn’t matter."
