"Whether you enjoy bird watching, (the blue herons nesting) cycling, golfing, hiking or just enjoying the oceanside walks, this location is incredible. Close to Sidney and the ferries and also drivable to anywhere on the Island. We stayed for an entire month! We had family visitors on two occasions. In fact, we booked the third bedroom for one stay and had lots of room for all of us. Highly recommend it! We hope to return sometime."

"We enjoyed our weekend stay in Cowichan Bay. The only request would be a second bathroom. The location is convenient, the view was fabulous. "

"We stayed for 4 nights during spring break with our 2 teenage children. It was amazing! The location is perfect for day trips to the Malahat Skywalk, Salt Spring island, Rathtrevor Beach and Goats on the Roof market. The house is clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We would absolutely stay here again! "

"The house has beautiful views from the deck, living room, dining area and bedrooms. We stayed in March for a week, enjoying the large wood stove on the cold wet days and explored most of the hikes when it was warm. "

"This was a wonderful unit to stay in. Bright and lovely. Lots of room and variety of sitting options (living room, dining room, kitchen stools, porch with chairs, and outside a gazebo with seating as well).Dishwasher!They allowed my dog as well and weren't concerned if she barked too loud which was perfect because I had to leave her there for 4 hours sometimes while I visited family in Victoria and could not bring her with me. "

"Always a nice place to stay "

"Lots of room for 4 of us staying 3 nights. Well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. Wish there were a couple of hooks in the bedrooms for hanging stuff and an extra mirror for getting ready in the morning, but overall very satisfied with our visit. Lovely area to walk around as well."

"Family travelled to Ladysmith for a winter reprieve and to spend time with friends living locally. Ladysmith is a unique place, centered well between Victoria and Nanaimo. The rental provided all the comforts of home, was very clean, extra bedding and towels (always a plus!) and so spacious for us travelling with 3 teenagers. "private, peaceful and tucked away a short distance from Maple Bay. had a wonderful stay."

"We were a group of 9 cycling girlfriends from Victoria and this house was better than we expected. Having 8 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms was perfect and the living/kitchen space accommodated all of us hanging out together. We never used the 2nd floor TV area (which was large) or the lower living area (also large), but spent all our time either out hiking or enjoying the views from every area of the house. Two dishwashers and sinks meant cleanup was simple. Fantastic 3 nights. "

The views of the ocean and wildlife are beautiful and we loved spending time exploring the beach. It is tucked away in quiet Vesuvius but close to Ganges for any shopping you need to do. "A quiet, comfortable location to use as a base while visiting family in Duncan. We tripped a fuse while using the hairdryer but the host told us how to reset. Easy access to shops and restaurants."

"The check in process was extremely easy. The list ofrequirements and expectations was straight forward and to the point. The mattress was like sleeping like I have never slept. The decor and anesthetic was pleasing. Sue was a delight to deal with and I know when I'm back out this way I will be checking for availability with her property "

"We had a great time staying at the cabin. The host provided amazing breakfast items (juice, milk, eggs, fresh local sourdough, butter, jam) which made the trip feel so special and the location was a perfect distance from the town (10 minute walk down to the pub and 15 mins to town). Overall great stay, and would come back!"
